    This is a good way to practice your sending when you own a IC-7300 and probably other Icom transceivers too.
    Switch off your "BKIN IN" when you're in CW mode. Your radio will not go in TX that way.
    Turn "RF GAIN" all the way to the right so that you don't hear any other stations.
    I'm not sure but maybe you have to put your "Monitor Function" to "ON" which is only available when you're in SSB mode. It's in the menu when you press the "Multiknob".
    And there you have it.
    It works perfect and you're using the automatic keyer is in your radio.

    Very good little keyer! And a great bit of advice, very encouraging! I've been wanting to learn CW, and this makes it seem less difficult of a challenge than it was in my brain!

    DAVE YOU DONT KNOW HOW HAPPY I AM THAT YOU TOOK THE TIME AND EXPLAINED THIS INFORMATION,,, my son has me to ask all the encyclopedia questions 😂,, I don’t think that people making videos realize the amount of information they don’t cover,, good job there’s a lot of new technicians 👍👋
