Sorry about sounding inpatient, it wasn't my intention. And yes when you have time, not very good at expressing written words but that's down to my dyslexia, thank God of modern technology especially speech-to-text software😊

Er hat wahrscheinlich "put on" geschrieben. Aber hey, etwas auf der Festplatte ablegen stimmt ja .. im weitesten SInne.

Wow brings back memories, the ram is most likely pc66. Windows 95 and 98 sometimes don’t read the processor correctly.

I never had any installation of Win 95 or 98 detect the right CPU, it always detects Pentium Pro. As if they hardcoded that in there haha

@@MacintoshMen the CPUs after the Pentium Pro retained its architecture, the original P2 is a rebadged Pentium Pro for the consumer market.

I always find it really interesting to see what is left on the harddrives of old computers, especially if they were used in a business. Here is what I observe with my - limited - knowledge in computing history and system administration:
They must have used Novell Netware as their primary network server for files and mails and so on, but they also had a Citrix Server to run applications from. Additionally, they had a AS400 server - probably for bookkeeping and stuff. (AS400 are those green on black terminals like they have in the Lagerhaus). Apparently, they also had a Intranet application running in IE3. Possibly, this computer was at the desk of the network administrator, seeing that VNC client.
Today, I incidentally talked to a guy on the internet about the idea of setting up a network like this at home. I have already built a server with an old, loud SCSI HDD and everything but I never get around to installing an OS.
Also, are you still short on SD-RAM sticks? I can give you some, I got several dozens of those down in my basement - sorry for not watching this video 9 month ago, I don't know why I missed it :(

Odd cooling setup for that Pentium II. Can't imagine it'd work too well, given that about a third of the fan isn't even in front of the heatsink.

The Pentium 2 is a odd setup to begin with xD but yeah you have a point. Well maybe it doesn’t run so hot
