  • In this video you will find the two just two step method to calculate the degree of crystallinity in your XRD pattern. Since this method based on manual selection of peaks area so be careful while selecting the area of crystalline peaks. You have to have little bit knowledge of peak shapes.

this only works for perfectly well grown crystalline with well-shaped XRD peaks in either single phase form or without any major interaction from other phases. in the most cases, however, there are more than 2 phases and their peaks are in the same 2theta area making it hard to distinguish from one another. and also they are all in the different size incl. nano-scaled upto micro. another point making this impossible is the presence of amorphous phase, making the major peaks largely broadened. I do not think you can ever estimate the degree of crystallinity when there is random amount of amorphous phase

It is very much useful. But, it will be still helpful if background voice was there

I worked very hard to make videos but I did not get so much views that's why I am not working on this. I have around ten more videos on "Origin" basic which I prepared around 3 month ago. I will upload them soon at least

Could you please provide some reference papers on it?
