  • On episode 26, we speak with Hmong-Thai scientist, lecturer and researcher, Dr. Prayath (Xiong Yang).
    Dr. Prayath is the first Hmong scientist to do research in Antartica as part of the Geology team of AFoPs (Asian Forum of Polar Science) for the 58th Japanese Antarctic Research Expedition during November 2016 and Mach 2017. He has also been involved in research projects in Vietnam, Myanmar, Sri Lanka and the Qinling mountain belt in China.
    Nantasin is a very productive researcher, and has authored and co-authored 14 peer-reviewed journal articles. He holds a doctor of natural sciences and holds a masters in geology and currently works for the Department of Earth Science in Thailand.
