1969 as a single, then 1970 with their last album. It's quite remarkable that Simon wrote this song so early in his career. It's a masterpiece. Simon was born a master and is now a legend. We will never see a musician of the same quality as Simon ever.
This song is all about a single guy but somehow mostly sung by a duet. The fuller, longer version is also a rarity. Both have sung it so well and every compliment to you for bringing a little joy in our lives. Thank you. Do bring out the songs sung so long ago to make them sound young as also us to feel young again.
