I own a house just beside the hike down on Stoos. When I was a teenager I always was alone up there observing wild animals. I always thought, why nobody is up here - it is so nice. But now with the new "Stoosbahn" tousends of tourists are coming dail - but I am happy for them, because it is really so beautiful and all people are happy and friendly up there.
Wow that’s wonderful, you had a true beauty all to yourself and it’s also so nice to hear that you are willing to share it with others. Owing a house there must be incredible with great views ☺️
Awesome video thanks! do you happen to know if it's possible to hike up from Stoos bus station rather than take the funicular and lift? i hate technology and would like to hike more than use man made transportation means in such a beautiful mountain
Thank you for your kind words. You can absolutely hike from the top of Stoos funiclar station. A lot of people chose to do this. I think this way the hike will take all day. We hope you enjoy your hike ☺️
Beautiful video! I have a question, which side did you go up,from Klingenstock or from Fronalpstock?Because I saw that you can go up both ways with the chairlift. But I read some reviews that it's recommended to go up from Klingenstock. We're planning on going on Saturday and I just wanted to ask since you already visited this place.
Thank you for sharing, beautiful footage! What is the name of the hike you did at Stoos and how long does it take roughly? I'm not physically fit so I'm a bit afraid. Is there a way to turn around if need be?
Thank you, the hike we did was from Klingenstock to Fronalstock. In regards to going back, I think it will be tough going back once you have done the first part of the ridge hike because you go all the way down and then hike up, the last bit is the steepest. You could decide to go down before you start the last bit though and hike down to stoos village if you wanted. I wouldn’t personally recommend doing the last bit and going to Fromalpstock if you are not physically fit. ☺️
Hello! What a nice video, thank you. We will be driving to this place, do you have the address? We will be there in August as well. Thanks in advancr 😊
Hello, Thank you for your lovely comment. I think Stoos might be a car free village but I will need to double check this. I am not sure if you can take your car up the hike part. The place where we got the funiclar up from is Schwyz. ☺️

You’re welcome, we woke up at around 3 in the morning I think 😂
@@TandAJAdventures Thank you. Sorry I've meant at what time were you at the first steep train that goes to Stoos?

Great video ❤ which month did you go?
Thank you, this was last week of August ☺️
I will be hiking this trail & intend to bring along my drones. Are we allow to fly ?
Ahh amazing to hear, you are allowed to fly drones with a license. There was no restrictions when we visited last year, we kept our license with us ☺️

Beautiful video, but continuity in the narration leaves a lot to be desired, which I found to be disservice as a potential traveler in that area.
Thank you for your feedback, would love to hear more. Please could you further expand on what you would have liked?
Did you come from Basel going to Stoos?
Hello, yes we did ☺️
@@TandAJAdventures Why didn't you tell us that in the video
Gorgeous ❤what day of the week? Is this a weekday or weekend
Hello, we did this hike on a weekday because we have heard it can be very busy on the weekends. 🥰
