We take a look at the awesome Tokyo Marui Sig P226 E2 GBB pistol, this is tm's latest version with the enhanced ergonomics and revised lock back and firing pin design.
I've had mine for about 5 years, replaced the barrel and hop rubber (personal preference) and it's a fantastic pistol. Very intuitive to shoot, it seems to just naturally come up to your eye line. It's had a good few thousand bb's through it, never broken and is still going strong. Great review :)
At 12:27 you mentioned that the slide stop is now steel. But that will wear down the notch in the slide rather fast, unless the notch is steel or has steel inserts
The travel distance from full recoil to the slide stop is only about 1.5mm so the slide has next to no forward speed when it's caught. Mine is a few years old and has no real damage to the notch :)
People keep saying marui has safe structure of slide lock using green gas. It does not. My P226 stainless, ,usp, hk45 all have cracked at the side opposite slide lock (ejector side). You can change with metal slide but I prefer my oem plastic slide
It depends on the ambient temperature. If you live in a place where it’s consistently over 20-25degrees Celsius then using green gas can cause problems.
@@MiddleAgeGameruk I have tokyo marui sigsauer p226E2 stainless and I want you to tell me about the positives and negatives of the problems which have been caused inside gun

I just got mine yesterday. I'm super happy with how it feels in my hand and how it shoots
I'm definitely interested in picking one up now.

@@supersario4364 oh thats good to hear!
can you switch the mag release side??
A steel slide would be awesome, would you consider ever doing a steel slide kit on it?
Hi there, a steel slide kit would be awesome. My only worry would be potential cooldown issues.
Where did you get the spinning target ??
I got mine through ebay, if you just search action airsoft targets one should come up

Can I ask how this compares to the Sigair ProForce P226 MK25? Thanks
Hi there, great question, I will add the mk25 to the list.
Thanks! Specifically the Sigair ProForce model.

What is the max range for that gun..
Hi there, depending on the bb weight and gas used i was reaching 35m at Halo Mill CQB arena.
Mine will comfortably lift .28's to 30m with green gas, the caveat being, I have replaced the barrel for a Guarder KM Head 6.01.
I've managed to get an absolute max of 40m with mine on .25s and predator gas
does it have a metal slide?
Hi there, this is a Tokyo Marui pistol, so the slide is polymer out of the box, but there are many slide and frame kits at a really good price for it.
@@MiddleAgeGameruk that's the downside of TM pistols. Taiwan pistols already have metal slides at the same price.
@@Lawi_Jakebut they still suck compared to TM
