- In this video I am unboxing a brand new WE F226 Rail version. This is a full metal gas blow back pistol from WE.

Tip for adjusting you hop with gloves on:
use the feeding lip or the base plate of your magazine! Works well on Glock-based models and I suppose it'll work on p226 models too.

On the real one the sp2022 but I think it is the same mechanics the hammer drop exactly the same way so I think it is ok

Hello! They are both great, the TM I found was more consistent for more of the year (but its a plastic body etc) the WE has the metal heft to it and, particularly when its warm, has a nicer snap / kick to it from shooting. It would be a hard pick, and will depend on what you are looking for and when (time of year) you are likely to run it... TM I think pips it a big for me. Pheas

What do you think of the overall build quality? I recently bought a WE Hi-capa (from KYairsoft) and the main safety has already fallen out twice...
Build quality wise I thought it was decent enough, at least out of the box. I havent seen much bad press about this model in general, but time will tell, it is my friends, once he has skirmished it a bit I will see how its doing. Pheas
At least from what I've heard from other people, WE's 1911/Hi-capa series is a lot lower quality than their other pistols (P226, M&P, etc.)

Hello! I have unboxed one, not released yet, its one of the ones with the red dot on the slide. I thought it was ok, not amazing, felt surprisingly light compared to others which worried me a tad. I have seen mixed reviews online of them being great or really unreliable. Probably will need some upgrade parts sooner rather than later just to keep it working.. Pheas
What bbs does it use??
6mm plastic ones, weights anywhere between 0.2g and 0.28g will be good in it. Defo not metal! Pheas

I'm late to the party here, but that's totally understandable. WE Sig/PX4/XDM (full frame pistols) are all Marui clones, and are much better. My PX4 is really solid, takes TM Mags. The WE Luger/Browning are two of the worst models they produce.
@@shadowjack239 Yeah, so I heard, I'm finding that KWC co2 stuff is really good though, as my 1911 is built like a tank.

the fact that it does not fully decock killed the chances of me buying this pistol and it is about the only one that comes in a tan model that is legal in Canada i have found raven makes one but it does not shoot 36 fps or faster even though i know most of these green gas pistols here do not even shoot over 350 bunch of liars wish raven would just lie like the rest of these companies do lol now i cant get a fde pistol to match my kit that i can afford but i am sure as heck not paying 265 plus tax for a gun that does not fully decock like it should function when i could get ones that do work for much less
