Not sure why there are so many negative comments here. The techniques you've shown here are really helpful, and go beyond the bitwig stepwise device. Thanks for sharing and teaching me a few new ideas I can mess about with.
Also thanks for cranking this video out so quickly, I thought “I bet you could do curious things with that Stepwise, beyond what you would expect” but haven’t got an active upgrade plan… and boom, there’s your video! 😂
the first thing I did with Stepwise was throw 3 of them into a Note FX Layer, then add some Note FX to each one, and then a Humanize on the outside into a Transpose Map. Got a really groovy semi-generative bassline out of it :D
Useful! A great use of time! The end result sounds heaps of fun. What kind of music is that? I'd like to explore making shimmering chordal stuff by tuning the note data to something nice and then modulating parameters of each row.
Nice video Matt, was getting into that. I don't have Bitwig yet but I like how everything is uniform and contained, especially when it comes to modular. Excluding the 'hands on' benefit, could you see it replacing your hardware? Cheers
Use septic vst. Unfortunately bitwig failed to make their own step sequencer note plugin (swepwise is a note plugin not a step sequencer). Stepic VST is what they should have made not this basic junk…
😂😮😢 I think U must not be the first one talking about sth new, but rather the most profound and structured …. Just like in nice precedenting videos of yours 😊
@@matthsmatthsmatths I don't talk about you but the new Bitwig Stuff. Look whats happening in Cubase and Ableton, then look over Bitwig and what ppl really want.

Thank you very much!
Love this type of video! You should do a whole series teaching synthesis with the grid and your modular!
Good idea!

Sounds good and made me think of a few ideas to try. Thanks for your outside the box thinking.
Great vid Matt, keep em coming!

Thats a wicked idea! I should have had a play with the note FX more. Thanks for sharing.

Exactly how i plan to use it 🤘 annnnnnnnddddd modulate
PS a razor's winging it's way to you in the post 😉
Great video! I am wondering if this sequencer can be used to trigger hardware via CV or midi. Have you tried it?
Yep. Easy. Needn’t even use the grid, play through HW out devices
Im sure it is possible. Just kick it out to an Expert Sleepers ES8 sound card and you are away!
Sweet!

Quite possibly. Im totally using this in conjunction with my modular a lot and it's becoming a large part of my setup. It has become so powerful now.
Creative

Thanks so much for the comment. Very kind of you! Be sure to stay tuned for more 🙌🏻

its a demonstration of an idea, not a full track you dick
Don't sugar the pill 😅
That’s not why we are here
Time waste
Thanks so so much for the comment - appreciate your time. 🙌🏻

Useless.
Another amazing comment - superb Jared. Stay tuned for more 👍🏻
