Hi there! At 31:00 minute you dont roll a noise dice cause you have already found a danger exploration token in that room. Rules page 15 explain that. Good job!
That was tense. I know my first thought after waking up from hibernation is always “I best destroy the ship right away!” Extended setup but nice fast gameplay. Definitely needs more players or an insane person playing two handed. Less Aliens feel, more Satan’s Advent Calendar.
@11:55 Finally you straighten that number 2 tile. @16:17 the number 1 tile is straightened and I can relax. The others that were a bit off were OK but those 2 tiles broke me. Great playthrough. I keep hovering over the buy button on this so wanted to see what solo was like.
I know I'm late to the party but @27:05 it's suppose to be add a breeder since it was a creep that was drawn not a larva I watched your videos to learn the rules and then I watched your play through, before finally giving it a go myself...I Lost...but I wanted to make sure I was playing right so this is my second time watching. Love your videos keep up the good work
Shoot is a Basic action, not an Item action, no need to spend an extra card because of the hand-wound, even with the item for shooting. it is in FAQ nemesis.
At @32:00. Larva and EGG have one injury. Not Creepers unfortunatly, Know from personal experience since I ran into one in my first game in the third room. :)
@@DaletheCasualGamer Also hey, each time you had all noise markers around you, you still roll for noise because if you get claws (danger) the book says to only put markers around you where there are none already. It doesn't trigger an attack if you go by rules as written. So you still have (if just a slight) chance of not being attacked.
Thanks for posting, I learned a few key items I had missed. Observations: * @ 18:00 you took three actions - move to engine room/break engine/move from engine room to new room. * @ 24:44 you would place an intruder carcass (I think) though I'm guessing because it wasn't relevant to your objective you skipped it. * @ 27:30 You took three actions - moved/searched/moved.
Thanks for watching! Playing solo, you really don't need to count actions unless you are in a room on fire. Larva and eggs do not get a carcass token after being destroyed. Hope that helps!!
Great video mate, was waiting for this. would have been good to see your paint jobs a bit closer. been reading the rules tonight, will set up tomorrow woth a few beers. well.done on the win 👍
Love the atmosphere of this game but from a gameplay perspective I can tell I would not enjoy much. I did almost back lockdown just on the hype though, had to stay strong!
@@tcat6596 Huh. Is that the original Kickstarter? I was looking at the lockdown stand-alone where you could get the original nemesis as well and it said there would be no late pledge due to their obligations to retail stores.
Thanks for watching! For multiplayer, I would stop for the next player, but for solo, you really only need to count your 2 actions if a room is on fire (you don’t want to end there, it burns). Hope that helps! :)
I'm so glad I watched this video, if nothing else, just for that ruling alone. That is such a massive boost to action economy than just 2 actions every turn
@MrWanted000 I'm rarely sure of anything, but the rules do say to place a noise marker in each corridor connected to the room that does not already have a noise marker. Hope that helps, and good luck surviving!! :)
For me, this game isn't a solo game, as I'm usually not a fan of long games for solo play ... but for some, yes, it can work true solo or running multiple players. :)
Hey Dale, great playthrough as always, love watching you play Marvel Champions. Just one question, at 15:11, where did you get that Bag Helper card from? I haven't found it in my copy of the game, also, in the contents section in the rules, there is no helper card so I reckon that it's diy card?
@@DaletheCasualGamer Yeah, it looks helpful. Easier to look at it than having those big rules in front of you the whole time. Thank you for the answer!

@Markos Pantelakis Thanks for watching, and the rules clarification and reference! Much appreciated. :)
The fire control system is on fire 😂 that gave me a laugh lol

@Aaron Shaver Thanks for watching! :)
Thanks very much for your work. Enjoyed this. Well done!

Good game. At first glance, I would've passed on this because of the theme, but this game seems fun. I can't wait to get my copy.
Hope you can keep your crew alive!! :)
Thanks for this Dale! :)

At 35 min mark, I don’t believe you have to make a noise roll if you’re already in combat. Great video as always! 👍🏻
@Bobby Bullock Good catch, for some reason I was thinking it was only when we moved, but it is during that phase too. Thanks! :)

He took 4 of them at 18:00, he check engine first and damage it( it was fine before) move in and out 4 actions
If you own Terror Below the eggs in that game look good in this one. I use the dark purple ones.
I don’t own it, but have played it … good component upgrade for this one! :)

Very cool. Bummed there is no late pledge for this.
Most is coming to retail! :)
It actually did have a late pledge, but sadly its already over

how did you pick up a heavy object, move into the next room, and THEN activate the room at the game start, isn’t that 3 actions in a turn ??

R u sure that rolling a danger mark with a room full of noise markers in the corridors doesn't trigger an intruder?

Where did you get that help/reference card you had?
@Shawn Gabrish It came in one of the expansions, I don't remember which one thought.
Thanks for the play through. Was really boring for me. ‘Hope for luck’ would make a better name. Saved me money, thanks!
@shatnershairpiece You are welcome, and thanks for watching! Glad I was able to help save you money!

If the room is unexplored, is it also set on fire?
@Barcel Depending on what is going on in the game, an unexplored room can catch on fire.
Great video! Comms room was broken though.
@trinidadfrancis Thanks for watching! Sometimes the crew catches a break when the player forgets something. ;)
LOL! Looking forward to your Marvel Champions videos when the new expansion comes out with Thanos!
No mini close up?!

Great playthrough, Dale. Have you tried the campaign yet?
Not yet, but feels like my group might want to try at some point. :)
Have you?
@@DaletheCasualGamer Still learning the mechanics. Soon though. The book associated with the campaign is pretty nice.
