@Chris W, if you think Ivar's is too fast, look at Wingul's. Not only does he use the Long Dau language (which is practically the same language as the one in Tales of Eternia: Melnics), he speaks it so rapidly it's mad. His VA ought to get a medal for pulling that off.

To help out here. Use the skills that have a sword icon with a yellow tip and a star, when in overlimit mode, if the attack connects and is not blocked the hold x right after it hits and the arte should activate
Yep, and being untouchable while in the air only made it better, especially against bosses. The easy way to defeat anything on any difficulty. Though I mentioned lightning spam for the fight against Musee 1v1, makes it a hundred times easier. Only downside is there's 0 technique or fun to that way of fighting.

That or they just decided to make a MA similar to Big Bang(One big blast of damage after a delay), and call it something else space themed.
Sorry, I think this is more a confusion of terms. OVL is just the abbreviation for overlimit. If you see a glowing aura around your character than you're in overlimit. Another indication is that your link gauge will be orange and rapidly draining.
Is tiger blade sigma useable during the last boss? I used it by chance and was kind of confused, especially when it ended the battle. Thought I still had a ways to go before he died.

They'll then do TB:Sigma instead, just for beeing cool. Much much in Graces f characters have different quotes for their Level3 MA when finishing off the boss with it.
You know I should get costumes for them I only got the dlc costumes for Jude and millia but I will try to get them any suggestions for a good costume the mystic artes look so awesome in this game
I know it's late but you can also use it before you have the tome, just have milla or jude active their mystic arte at the final boss when he has low enough hp to finish him off while both Jude and Milla are linked and they'll activate it
I think if u use it in the final battle to finish Gaius/Muzet off to win it activates. I'm only assuming that to be the case cuz that's how it happened for me :P
Yeah. Well, I do try to spice it up but I find that my unhealthy need to Level Grind about 10-15 levels after every boss, made the game just a little too easy for me. :P
2:00 now that i think about it, I never saw Presa's Mystic Arte in the entire game, and you fight her 4 times in the game (technically 3 though). Also, am I the only one that thought '' Katherine '' the frist time Presa appeared?

I think the quotes in X2 are better, but I still love the original quotes for Elemental Mastery, Terminus Pride and Absolute Domination.

TBS is activated with certain artes that you get from skill books. Milla *Overdrive* and Jude *I forget the name*

How did you do the combination mystic Arte with Jude and mills?
They get a tome after you beat the game that gives them each a new arte. If you use that to start a mystic arte while they're linked they'll use it.
