I'm totally with you on Black Opium Le Parfum! I didn't even want to try it, much less like it, but the Sephora didn't have any other new releases so I tested it on a whim 😅 And then kept going back to the store because I couldn't get enough!
I was at the mall to go smell Cherry Smoke at Nordstrom. I decided to go to Macys as well when I saw a new black opium bottle. When I smelled it, I IMMEDIATELY had to buy it. It was that good. I wore it to the party and it was everything I wanted. I need backups!

I don’t know if it’s me, or are there just too many perfumes on the market??? Every designer perfume has like 5 varied editions of the same perfume. There’s nothing so special about these fragrances! Old school perfumes back in the day were so unique, they each had a distinct, unique scent, a mood…and it didn’t come and go so fast. Quality, not quantity!! Nice video. Ty

What's funny is that I hadn't heard of Gritti at all until my trip and since then, I've seen quite a few people raving about Duchessa (rightfully so). It was the first fragrance I tried from the brand and it is really beautiful! I fell in love with Tutu and Chantilly as well. What a hidden gem brand! xx
Such a tantalising haul, the Carolina Herrera is getting a lot of air time I can't believe I overlooked it for so long. And some more slow burns like YSL's Black Opium and the Kayali house continues to produce some quality scents too. But I do think your niche finds are the stand out, and actually your last purchase sounds like a perfect UK winter wearable....great selection 💞💞💞
I’ve had Hedonist for a few years now and love it. I mostly get the peach and rum with the scent, which I love but find it sits better on my skin in the spring and fall months (or a cool summer night). Glad you are talking about it.
Erin!! i was anxious for this perfume review! I honestly cant wear many perfumes, Im very sensitive to them. The wrong ingredients give me headaches, and currently all I can use is the LV California Dream parfum! lol, I know that was not a favorite of yours, but that tutu parfum sounded divine! Thank you for the links! I will be sampling quite a few parfumes for the site you recommended! Just sad they didnt carry Sirena, I've been wanting to try that mermaid scent for at least a year! Im so excited to try some new, hopefully yummy scents!💞
I own so many Kayali fragrances, so I’m gonna have to add this one at some point. My sweet diamond pink pepper has sat over time (I have the biggest bottle) and it has started to smell extremely peppery. I almost want to sell it and it’s almost a full bottle. I’ve own it ever since it come out if that tells you anything. My vanilla 28 smells beautiful, and that’s because the vanilla has set and has aged because it’s real vanilla extract in it, so I’m loving that one. Love fest and invite only and vanilla royale sugared patchouli. Just not a fan of my sweet diamond pink pepper anymore. Too peppery for me. As for the Le partum black opium..The OG stays in my collection no matter what, and I also own the extreme version. If I run out of the original, I always get a new bottle. Always have to have black opium. It’s a signature scent of mine and has been for years. I sprayed the le parfum flanker on me in Sephora when it first came out, and wow it’s been on my mind ever since. That vanilla is heavy, and along with the softer coffee note but stronger vanilla makes it almost better than the OG ❤I love how black opium mixes with my body chemistry, so I’m thinking about buying a bottle lol. It is pricier than the original most definitely, but I don’t know about the longevity. Is it as good as the OG? I have coco mademoiselle and black opium le parfum in my basket on Sephora, and can’t figure out which one I want more. I’ve owned the coco mademoiselle before but returned it for something else. I do own Chanel coco noir. Biggest bottle they have. I’m picky and don’t know which one to get.
Loved this! I wrote off Gritti entirely when I tried Chantilly because to me, that one smells like straight up hairspray! Now I'm super interested in trying Tutu! Hi! I feel the same as you, we’ll actually, I did not like any of the Black Opiums at all, UNTIL this one. And I’ve only smelled it on a tester strip so far. I just got a sample today to test out. But my gosh just on the strip it smelled soooo good! The vanilla is delicious and the slight florals in the back. Like u said,‘it’s just such a pretty creamy scent!
I own Gritti Tutu Extrait. I love it. It doesn’t last all day on me, but it’s still great. It’s not my husband’s favorite, but I wear my fragrances for me anyway ;p and the bottle perfectly matches the juice, which I love when that happens
I haven't heard my husband's opinion on it yet lol but to be fair he's not a huge fan when I wear BR540 so I've learned to take his thoughts with a grain of salt! lol xx

I love Black Opium Le Parfum too! I've always had a soft spot for the original but thought it lacked something to round it out. Le Parfum has everything that was missing. I love the vanilla drydown! And the pistachio Kayali one sounds delicious. 😍👍🖤🍦

Haha what a description! When I think of gas station hand soap, I think of the sickeningly sweet cherry almond smell, this is VERY different! Of course not everyone will like it which is perfectly normal :) xx

Hi Erin. I blind bought Hedonist from Luckyscent since I live in Canada. It was a great purchase. I like the peach note in it. One thing that is kind of strange is that it is only a 40ml.
YSL Black Opium Le Parfum is stunning ❤ very well made with great longevity and sillage, a compliment getter 🌺🌺🌺🌺 I never liked any previous Black Opiums, this is the only one in my collection that I simply LOVE ❤. Carolina Herrera Good Girl Blush is a beautiful fragrance however it does not perform, very poor longevity and no sillage on my skin, unfortunately. I have other creations of Quentin Bisch that are amazing compliment getters and long lasting( Very Good Girl, La Belle, Delina ) but this one just didnt match the high standart of the previous ones…

I decluter the OG black opıum i did never reach for it was kind of boring classic never reach for it but when i blind buy the le parfum i fall in love at the first sniff the le parfum shold be the OG black opium that chick smoth vanila love love love❤
I have TuTu Blanc and Duchessa by Gritti- though they were both blind buys from before you could find Gritti....anywhere (not the US, not even their website)...so I couldn't get samples- I am SO curious about Tutu! Hedonist sounds lovely....the "vintage" angle gives me pause- just HOW vintage?!?
Hedonist reminds me a little bit of Chanel Coco -- they don't smell similar but they capture the same energy. It's hard to describe but when I say vintage, I don't mean old or dated, just "old money" or a return to old glamour. It's very different from the recent designer launches that are so popular. It's unexpected in the best way! xx
Sparkling Sugar smelled great on a test strip and yet smelled putrid sour on my skin. I blind bought the new Black Opium and I was terribly disappointed. It almost smelled like room spray. I love vanilla, not a safe blind buy..imp

Haha what a description! When I think of gas station hand soap, I think of the sickeningly sweet cherry almond smell, this is VERY different! Of course not everyone will like it which is perfectly normal :) xx

I have the tousset fragrance too! I bought it from the scent bar in La. It’s not as exciting compared to the rest but like you, I had to buy the “true north”. It’s a crazy realistic scent!
You should try accident a la vanille by jousset. Great for layering also.i have gourmand bakhoor also and love both!

Hi Erin. I blind bought Hedonist from Luckyscent since I live in Canada. It was a great purchase. I like the peach note in it. One thing that is kind of strange is that it is only a 40ml.

YSL Black Opium Le Parfum is stunning ❤ very well made with great longevity and sillage, a compliment getter 🌺🌺🌺🌺 I never liked any previous Black Opiums, this is the only one in my collection that I simply LOVE ❤. Carolina Herrera Good Girl Blush is a beautiful fragrance however it does not perform, very poor longevity and no sillage on my skin, unfortunately. I have other creations of Quentin Bisch that are amazing compliment getters and long lasting( Very Good Girl, La Belle, Delina ) but this one just didnt match the high standart of the previous ones…

Unfortunately, I've didn't get to try the rose and cassis versions of Hedonist but I am soooo tempted to blind buy! I can only imagine they would be just as alluring! I need to chill out on spending for a little bit but they are on my list! xx

I decluter the OG black opıum i did never reach for it was kind of boring classic never reach for it but when i blind buy the le parfum i fall in love at the first sniff the le parfum shold be the OG black opium that chick smoth vanila love love love❤

I have TuTu Blanc and Duchessa by Gritti- though they were both blind buys from before you could find Gritti....anywhere (not the US, not even their website)...so I couldn't get samples- I am SO curious about Tutu! Hedonist sounds lovely....the "vintage" angle gives me pause- just HOW vintage?!?
Hedonist reminds me a little bit of Chanel Coco -- they don't smell similar but they capture the same energy. It's hard to describe but when I say vintage, I don't mean old or dated, just "old money" or a return to old glamour. It's very different from the recent designer launches that are so popular. It's unexpected in the best way! xx

Sparkling Sugar smelled great on a test strip and yet smelled putrid sour on my skin. I blind bought the new Black Opium and I was terribly disappointed. It almost smelled like room spray. I love vanilla, not a safe blind buy..imp
Kayali is sweet and unique but it doesn’t last. You would have to spray it every hour!

BO le parfum is great on the dry down, like overnight, but the opening smells like medicine and bug spray - I can’t get past it
