For reference, the ears are about 5 rounds in. You can see it pretty clearly at 9:52 . The horns are 2 rounds in, just above the ears. The ears are also 7 or 8 stitches behind the eyes. You can put them wherever you like, but I'm just going by what it looks like in the video :)
I made this with fuzzy yarn and just didn’t make the spots and oh my gosh, the cutest fluffy cow result! Great pattern, though with my personal tension I did add another row to the main “body” part just so it made a little more of a squishmallow shape.
Thank you for this Adorable squishy cow. My granddaughters theme for my new great grandson due in July. Is Western / Cow theme in natural colors. Can't wait to make for the baby shower.
Great tutorial! I am still very new at crochet but this was easy to follow and the little cow came out so cute! My one did come out really round and no matter how much I tried to squish it it stayed the same shape. Do you have any tips for getting the shape of the body longer? ☺️
I had the same issue at first! I believe it's caused by the yarn size, if you're using 5mm or smaller could turn out like a ball, im using 8mm and its an oval
Hi! The body of my cow looked a bit like ball, so I added more rounds when I wasn’t dec or inc. The cow now looks a bit bigger than yours, how Cani make the patches/horns and ears bigger too?
I'm a beginner in crochet for 8 months and the amigurumi has been enchanting me a lot! I bought a course where an artisan from Brazil teaches how to create our own recipes and soon I want to be an amigurumi pattern designer 🙏🏽🥰 Thank you for sharing cute and easy recipe patterns with us! May God bless your work! 🙏🏽💕🥰
Idk if you found your answer elsewhere but you can use a thicker yarn (I'm using the Bernat baby blanket yarn with a 9mm crochet hook) and you can scale the project up by adding more stitches. So you could start the magic circle with 8 stitches and then just follow the pattern. Make sure to adjust all the pieces (ears, spots, muzzle) the same way! Hope this helps :)
watch a beginner video that introduces the most important stitches. i only started two weeks ago but after watching one of those videos i was able to construct this pattern
It’s a simple pattern I suppose so easy if you’ve got intermediate experience, but definitely not beginner friendly. Everything is sped up so quickly and the camera is so far from the stitches even slowing the video doesn’t help me see what’s being done

For a longer body, add a few more rounds in the middle (I.e. when you aren’t increasing or decreasing) 🙂
@@RoseandLilyAmigurumi how did u put the white yarn inside the ear
Idk why, but mine is a little cow ball, but it's still really cute 😂
Same😂

For those having trouble with it being too fast, there is a free written pattern linked in the video's description.
Me encanta! ❤
What is the clip for? And can you do a big plushy in the future?
the clip is to mark the beginning stitch of a round so you can keep track of when you end the round
hello! What should I do if I want to make a bigger plushie ? Thank you!

How do you keep the spots so flatttt
I followed this and my cow ended up a spherical shape and not oblong. Can someone tell me if I did something wrong?
Hi I was wondering how much yarn you used to make the cow
Instructions unclear, accidentally made mine twice the size, it’s too large and adorable to handle.
May I ask how much yarns of each color?
Can you do a jelly fish?!
Hi! Instead of a cow, could this work as a pig? I love your tutorials, and this one was especially easy for me!
Can you tell me the dimensions of the patches please?
