Almost done with mine. So excited! I didn't have Chunky yarn, so I know it will be less fluffy. I'm doing it for the vibes tho ya know? Lol

Sameeee I'm using yarn that requires a 5mm anyway, it's turning out amazing and pretty big, maybe my biggest yet! If I really like it I'm gonna make another one and reverse the colors I'm so happy with it

My little girl wanted a real axolotle so I decided to see if I can crochet one and it came out wonderful 😊. I love it and she also loves it so much. Thanks so much. 🤩🤩🤩 This video will get to the point which I like!!!!

Thank you for the videos ♡
    I'm obsessed!
Over the weekend I made a jumbo one, with super minky soft thick yarn and a crochet hook size 12mm!
I added a cloth bag of rice to add extra weight as the young girl I am making this for has anxiety and her mom wanted to try a weighted stuffed animal, and we choose your design ♡
    I wish I could post pictures ♡
I used pink for the main color and purple for accent color ♡

So I actually used this as a base for something else! I just started learning to crochet and following written patterns is near impossible for me 🥲
The base for your Axoltol was really similar to the shape I wanted to give the pattern I bought and holy Moses was this super easy to follow. I think anyone who gives free crochet tutorials is a SAINT in the first place. But you are an extra Saint because your instructions are so clear and so concise!!
Also I really really struggle with making magic rings, but I decided to copy what I saw you do and OMFG it was so much easier than what I’ve been trying to do lol.
Hopefully one day I’ll get good enough to try and make this stuff with the thick yarn.
Thank you so much for your tutorial 💖🖤💖🖤

I used Hobby Lobby’s Cozy Occasion yarn for the body and only needed one ball of yarn. still have to make the gills and tail detail, but I attached the legs and tail and now the body from head to tail is a little less than a foot and a half tall! I’ve been at it nonstop for like seven hours now because of how easy your pattern is to follow- thank you!

Alternatively for the gills I personally wanted something more "frilly" So i just experimented. Ended up chaining 14 and then alternated between ( DC, Triple crochet**, DC) and SC every other stitch. Its so friggin cute!. Thank you so much for sharing with us.
**[idk if that's even a thing but i wrapped the hook twice and pulled through 3 times]
