I remember talking with the neighborhood kids trying to figure out how to beat the last temple. Finally reaching the showdown with shadow Link was intense and epic payoff for 8 year old me. Back in those days, there were no internet walkthrough or combat guides to rely on if you got stuck (and the games were generally much harder to boot). The lack of guides made these old school games more challenging, but the payoffs were always more uniquely satisfying as a consequence. Thank you for bringing this memory to life Lara! You are a talented human bean.
@@natalieisagirlnow Don't recall the first few issues of Nintendo Power having info on this game, though it's been years since I last read any of them. And guide books weren't much of a thing until 1990, when Nintendo started releasing some in between issues of Nintendo Power, so unless this was covered in one of the "How To Win At Nintendo Games" books, that wouldn't have been an option either
This is one of my fave game tracks of all time, and this is hands down the coolest damn rendition I’ve ever heard. Mad props, Lara! Killing it like always! :)
