I havent been this excited for a game in a loooong time. It's all I can think about
I put my PTO in today. Just going to enjoy time off and hopefully the servers work.
@@xlM3RCxl never take off the first day for live service game btw. It's usually a waste
@dreambiscuits yeah it's fine, I just enjoy having time off and will do something else if needed. To me it's fun being part of the experience even when it goes wrong lol
But it is not known what content the early access will have, perhaps it will only be 1 act and we will have to wait a few more years as it happened with Baldurs Gate III... :-(

This means brought a whole ass mossberg super 870
after listening to it a bit, it was already too loud for me in the first section because it felt like the char had to reload every 2sec.
in the 2nd part of the video, the sound already annoyed me.
especially the firing sound of the rapid fire and the precision shot. ice and fire as shotgun version okay but in the long run...i don't know
@@MemphisMG86 turn down your in game sound, you can use that thesis in all games, in long term gaming ..

Footage looked crisp and smooth but I wished they had the background music playing during it. It's possible that they haven't finished composing all the music yet for the game.

Reminds me of the pace that diablo 2 is played at. I find it to be more satisfying than poe 1 killing speed. Anyone else or is it just me?
I am so looking forward to it. I have always wanted an ARPG as deep as POE but with deep combat. There is a place for wiping out screens with no thought but we have that in POE. I'm ready to have mechanical skill matter.

No flame but these posts are getting boring now. D2 was great 24 years ago. PoE2 (and poe1) are leaps and bounds better than D2 in literally every way. Let's move on shall we.

cant believe this gonna be free. everything is top end. sound, animation, graphics and difficulty looks like playing against 10-15 levels above player enemies.

If we are to use directional movement instead of point click, i think it might be more challenging for M&K users. Having to use your WASD and then press your QWERTY buttons to use ability as you use your Mouse to aim and pivot. Alot going on.
No Druid gameplay. Getting the feeling we aren’t seeing Druid for the early access. I wonder what they aren’t happy with?
Could be the ascendancies arent ready but I think they did confrim that shapeshifting is a skill gem so still viable with other characters
I'm guessing it is just a lot more work than some other classes. They may have come to a point where they thought they could finish 2 other classes before getting Druid to where they wanted it to be.
Druid gameplay was before the attacking-while-moving change. i'm guessing the druid is taking a bit more work than other skills/spells in order to get things to animate properly with that system in mind. i bet we'll see it at EA, but far from everything that'll be available at 1.0.
more of a magic fan, but crossbows vs monsters and some occult magic is such a vibe

I wish Runescape looked like this. I also wish path of exile was an open world MMO game with no load screens.
I hope we get a setting to hide weapons on our backs, I love Merc and will most likely play him first but I don't like the crossbow on his back the way it is.

Ranged being able to move while still dealing damage is such a huge deal, that the Warrior, while looking cool, looks so limited by comparison. I hope he had considerably more defense as a bonus or something.

Legit was giggling to myself because this looks so good
the crossbow char looks hard to me like he's having a hard time. even the normal archer with less skills felt better while watching.
although i think the grenades are not used (well) enough.
it also generally seems that the normal mobs can withstand much more and thus the gameplay itself is decelerated
and the melee gameplay looks REALLY good the combination of skills looks great!
and the rage buildup with the red glow through the gear STUNNING!

The game each time looks better and better. I only im worry for 1 only thing "the combat is fun but to slow (you need to attack at least 3 times on each enemy)"
All the footage shown so far has been early game footage. GGG never shows zoomzoom gameplay in their promotional material.
@@riftis2210 yeah but I’m pretty sure it won’t be like Poe1 which I really appreciate. Poe1 is a shotshow after 10 years of powercreep and the ppl who can’t appreciate slow combat just never played an action game. It’s actually much more fun hitting an enemy twice then once if the animations, sound impact etc feel good.
The sounds in this video alone remind me of Diablo 2.
are there no magic/rare monsters or just no visual indication of monsters being magic/rare

This is not a walk in the park gameplay. Every path there are enemies to engage unlike in D4
So can a warrior use 2h swords? Or just maces?

For me the crossbows still sound to guny- maybe it’s because I’m a soldier but the sound should be more like metal and a bit more blunt. But ppl seem to like it so maybe it’s just me. But when I just hear the sound I think of a gun and not of a crossbow 😅
Agree there is definitely a lil explosion sound in there.
In the Mercenary reveal trailer, the director mentions that they looked to shooter games for inspiration for the Merc and fully embraced the shooter playstyle for the class. I think it sounds gunny very intentionally.

@@rofltrance yeah I get that they want it so it plays like a shooter but the 3d model is a crossbow not a gun do the sound should be crossbow and not gun. As it is now they could just put the model of a gun in it and it would be more immersive tbh
After spending around 400 euro on Diablo 4 purchases I realised that I was just paying for the nostalgia of the franchise. The art department of Blizzard did a great work to captivate players on believing that in addition with the D2r dark theme they would go back in time and relive the golden era of Diablo 1+2. I was just so wrong. Diablo 4 is a mess and I don't see the game changing any direction. Poe 2 looks it hits all the checkpoints of what a real arpg should play.15th November is the day I would actually switch to GGG!!

No offline mode because GGG doesn't want their code to be datamined so that many of the systems can be figured out like how loot drops work as one example

I hope the endgame is as this early game, with combos, different combination of buttons and not only parkisons one spell spamming :). It s amazing. The game looks great and I am sure that GGG would deliver a quality game. I am still sorry that I spend 100$ on D4 instead of giving to them :).

More depht, better bosses, more classes, better feeling and animations are on par if not better than D4. It's basically PoE 1 slowed down with better animations and less shit on screen.
This doesnt have the fast pace like poe does, idk if people will like

The first couple of minutes look like some new Alien Shooter. How boring other classes look against the backdrop of a crossbowman shooting shotgun))))

Game looks amazing... now the only thing i can desire that dumb D4 lied about on release is pvp!
I want some form of pvp some incentive to gear up and make the perfect build so i can play vs another human being.
I srsly hope it is not like D4 where u just kill monsters , get loot for the sake of getting loot only to throw the character later so u can start fresh one and grind gear again for nothing.
Its so dumb its beyond me... give us some small scale closed pvp map, killing stuff to get best possible loot just to stop playing the said character in its final form is absolutely horrible.
Nobody expect it to be balanced. No pvp is ever balanced... not wow arena no nothing. Its fun and create communities.
Make it so it have some cosmetic rewards end of season and thats it , no power items so ppl who dont like to pvp dont feel obligated to do so for some items. Just cosmetics and titles are enough.
I hope this game turn out ot be more than this dumb D4. I never played poe and i am very hyped about poe2.
