if you are on android 11 , when u want to fix analog stick n dpad problem , you should go to setting and off the "one-hand mode" ( if already off , turn in on and off back again) then you can mapping them.

Playing on a kindle fire, it's about the best DBZ game I can hope to play. Anything better just doesn't flow right. I tried most of them.

If anyone is having a problem with setting the dpad and analog sticks just tap on auto configure and it should give you the analog sticks and the dpad buttons perfectly

@@bit427 go to settings > Accessibility > look for magnification and turn it off. That made it work for me!

I appreciate this and your honest and sincere advice but most of not all people looking for an answer to this issue are looking for a wireless answer. Since the Xbox and any other Bluetooth controller on Android doesn't do this, someone has to have a solution

Hey man so I'm playing god of war ghost of sparta and the analog stick and d-panels aren't working. So i connected my ps4 controller with my android device and my analog stick and d-panels still aren't working in control mapping. Could you please help.
Try remapping the controller
When I press L1 it presses my whole dpad like up down left and right

I have a problem. Im using a dual shock 4 controller. But ppsspp cant detect my d pad and analog stick but it detect L R, triangle, square, X and O. But in other apps like epsxe i have no issue.
Try updating your version of PPSSPP

For some reason my Dpad doesn't work in mobile for me but perfectly fine on my pc and ps4

For somereason I can't map the buttons at all on the psp emulator I also have an app game keyboard + the buttons work fine off the psp app but on it it does not work for me 😑

So I connected my android to my Ps4 control and went to the same settings you went too but when I’m in mapping it doesn’t read when I press a button to map it
Press and hold the PS button and SHARE button on the wireless controller at the same time.
The light bar on the back of the wireless controller will start flashing once pairing mode is active.
in ''Test analogs'' i tested a borrowed ps4 controller and it draws a circle that did not reached the top so my character could not run at full speed forward, does your ps4 and xbox controller make a full square? like my (broken) gamesir T1?
I haven't tried that but my ps4 controller works fine
@@majorstv99 i bought a PS4 controller a couple of months ago and this one makes a good circle and Works fine. But it is interesting that not all controllers are made equally.
I am not actually surprised that all controllers same, some are cheaper and not genuine while some are costly and genuine. That's business for you

I am asking this before buying a controller, Can a key combination like O and X be set on a button. Also, I don't see combo key settings on my ppsspp gold.

Hey man i connected my ps4 controller to my android through usb but its not responding there is a yellow light on dualshock
Make sure that you hold ps and share button respectively for your phone to be able to detect the ps4 controller
So I'm playing battlefront 2 on ppsspp and trying too set up my controller too where both thumb sticks work, any way too make it happen
You can map the two thumb sticks to work but the PSP has only one thumb stick so, why would you want two working thumb sticks?
I cant map the dpad buttons. It doesnt do anything when i press any dpad
Clear all and re-map the keys, make sure that it displays a value in the d-pad section.

How bad is the latency when using a controller?
It's high on Bluetooth but very low on USB cable
From my experience games are pretty much unplayable with the lag

Make sure that you hold the share and PS button while pairing the controller to you Samsung j5prime device

Bro I did the same but for each button which I clicked on the controller there just shows something like this on the ppsspp "pad1.00?“ and that's written for EVERY BUTTON I don't know how to fix this can anyone help me out with this pls??
If you click on triangle on the ppsspps app, you then have to press triangle on the ps4 controller
@@majorstv99I know that my friend, I did exactly the same for every button but after pressing for example triangle instead of triangle (or whatever there should have been written) there is written "pad1.00?" and that also for each and every button. Means when I press x there is written "pad1.00?", I press square there is written "pad1.00?" and so on you know what I mean..??

My audio stops as soon as i connect my ps4 controller but works fine when i unplug it. Any idea on how to fix? Controller is working flawlessly buy i cant play without audio. Please i would appreciate a response.

@@Leo9az nope. But it works when plug the earphone into the controller. That's the only way to hear the audio.

@@majorstv99 i did however when I move the dpad or the analog stick they don't register. Almost like they are broken but when I use them outside the app they work just fine.

@@majorstv99 I figured it out. I just had to open the app first then connect the controller and it works. I was connecting the controller first and then opening the app and seems like that was the issue. Thanks for your help anyway!

How do you pair the ps4 controller to the phone exactly?
Press share and PS button simultaneously for like 5 seconds, it will blink , you then goto your Bluetooth settings, you should see the controller there

It happens to me sometimes, that is why I recommend using OTG to connect via USB mode to get zero lag.
We r not talking about lags We can't even register our dpads

@@majorstv99 So i found a pretty weird solution.If u enter the app by navigating the home screen using the dpad and then pressing x when its the icon of ppspp the dpad and analog stick work.The rest of the buttons worked in the first place.

Lol, simply use a USB adapter and plug your mouse into it and your phone should be able to detect it

Where is the input lag fix? LOL. no, usb is not any faster in modern controllers, there has been so many tests done to prove this. Maybe next time don't put music louder than your voice. Very hard to understand.
