@@PeterRanieriII thanks. Always great to watch your deft hand at pulling in the fish. These fish are so infuriating so always looking to get better, especially in skinny waters
@@anon-e-mouse988 what really helped me is watching underwater video of how they peck at the bait, and eventually take it and hold it in their mouth. but keep practicing and it you'll get the hang of it, its still tricky for me as well they are not easy to catch!
def not like stripers, but sometimes if the bite gets really hot you will start seeing low lying marks. I almost always only see just "fuzz" though around the structure which tells me theres some kind of life. the marks I saw in this video are likely porgies but im also surprised i didnt catch many porgies

I mostly prefer the "bottom sweeper" style like this: amzn.to/3YdNLCW but i dont buy online, I try to buy at local shops and fishing shows to support the small time guys that make them. its really a look thing for me, if i see one that looks well made has a strong hook and will keep the bait upright, ill try it.
correct, my fish finder has gps so it can track where I am in relation to the different bottom contours. I rely on it alot to find and get to the spots but then I use the sonar to see the actual depth and if there is fish activity around where I am
I feel you. I was out there in my Outback that same day and it was definitely a sketchy ride back!
glad you made it back safe as well, that wind just would not let up!
Great video, thanks for sharing

@@VRafaZ try areas more to the east if you can
Great video but it would be helpful for you to describe bite and how you’re setting
thanks, the simplest way to describe it is you ignore the taps and set on the pull. ill try to do a better job of explaining that on the next one

Whenever u fish do you rely on your fish finder to get to certain locations? Like does it have gps like google maps or something?
