Evidence seems to show otherwise. According to the video, in the original test, gorilla glue did 60# and flex glue 50# on cubes while with the bricks flexglue did 150# and gorilla glue did 30#. So gorilla glue was slightly better on cubes and flexglue was much better on bricks. This mix did 60# on cubes and 120# on bricks. So it was as strong as gorilla glue on the cubes and almost as strong as flex glue on the bricks. Hence my comment... it brought out the best of both.
@@BenKickert I know what you're trying to say and I absolutely don't denie the results but mixing stuff together doesn't automatically make them better, it mostly will result in making the stronger substance worse, You can't for example mix cola and water together and expect it to become super sticky, makes sense right? After all water isn't really sticky.. but even if you'd mix Sprite and coke together it's unlikely gonna stick any better than the best of them both, that's just how physics work. The way I explain this to myself is the mixture of both, the drying time and the grip they had since not every brick has the exact amount of grip. I hope that makes sense

I would think that the base assumption for all tests would be that results of two substances would be averaged. So take something like penetrating oil / spray lubricant. If one was better at loosing bolts but worse at preventing rust and it was mixed with a product that was opposite, I would expect a final result that was moderate at each task.
