...im here, writting my poetry and my cup of tea...with this lovely melody that travels inside my mind inviting words to dance on the floor of my notebook ❤
Well done I play a Bridget mermikides arrangement of this song from guitar techniques but it’s in D a semitone up. So i know how deceptively hard it is it’s not flashy but very challenging ( played it at my grans funeral) thanks for the vid
Hi Michael, thanks so much for uploading this video! I just purchased the book and not really sure about the fingering. Your video helps TONS! thank you again for making upcoming weekend wonderful. Will be watching your video over and over!
Excellent playing! Does anyone know where I can find/order a copy of this great arrangement? I've tried searching the arranger, Bridget Mermikides, but all I can find is where to buy her recording.
@@89ji76 don’t get the standard notation and tab version, the book feels cramped; tough to sight read on. I haven’t seen the standard notation version only. I had to modify some of the fingering, like one hinge bar section, to keep the legato phrasing and eliminate inner open string. It’s a good arrangement.
Bridget Mermikides’ book “the Classical Guitar Compendium” has the arrangement in both standard and tab form. For reading music for guitar, look for Robert Benedict’s books.
Marcus Vinnas it comes with the territory. You can lessen it with good technique but its always there. I like it myself. Part of the sounds of a guitar.

Liyan C I’ll check that out. 3 years later it’d still be a great one to learn!

Jun Tin yeah I’m not a big fan of sheet music that feels the need to tell me the same notes twice

beautiful but those squeaks kill.
Is this bad technique?
Lion Phoenix i love the squeaks, such a classic sound

Thanks Jose, I look forward to hearing your recording of the piece
