@@godbyone No solos in the show. Satch Boogie is Joe Satriani's "moment" I guess you could say but the show is basically songs with everyone performing.
Words cannot express how enjoyable this was to watch the whole concert.. I as a Van Halen fan of 40 years ,, can say these guys are the real shit.. thank you very much… ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Wow! Great show and amazing setlist! Massive props to Joe Satriani. How many players would want to tackle this assignment? Joe does an incredible job of staying close enough to the original to make it sound like we all remember it while adding enough of his own style to not sound like a clone.
Fantastic show last night! Best thing we'll get to live Van Halen ever again! Satch was magical and I could close my eyes and feel Eddie, Jason was thunderous like his father on drums, Mikey with that signature thumping bass galloping and Sammy at 76 bringing me right back to 1986 on the 5150 tour. Amazing night!
I think what I liked so much about VH was that Eddie always seemed so happy when he was on stage playing guitar. Sammy is the same way. You can tell he still loves being on stage and the dude can still sing.
Thank you for posting this. I just love how Satriani is just so damn good. To think, this will likely be the last time that we will hear Van Halen songs by any of the remaining members played ever again. Michael and Sammy are getting up there in years. I really wish Alex would've taken them up on the offer, but I also understand that he doesn't want to perform without his brother.
WOW!!!!! Amazing!!! Full credit to everyone . . Satch has balls of steel standing in those shoes . . Love him, SO Authentic!!!! I watched a low key interview with Satch who said that he would need to practise 2 hours a day for a number of weeks to be able to nail one particular technique of Eddie's. And wow, Bonham has studied Alex and nailed his drum sound!!! Panama sounds amazing! Surely Alex Van Halen is wondering if he really should have been involved?
Gracias Jim por subir este gran show, los fans de Van Halen y de Eddie , del sur de América agradecidos, ya que no podremos verlos en vivo. Extraño al genio Eddie!!
It's been so great seeing Joe get more and more comfortable with the songs and adding his own flavor to them. I knew this would be fantastic! 39:18 - You go, Mikey! You still got it!
Thanks for this. Great to see the see guys out there playing these songs. And thoroughly enjoying themselves. Fingers crossed they can bring this show to the UK...
Wow, I just watched the video of VH,1986 summer nights with EVH,we all have to admit there will never be another Eddie, but great job from these guys, there Awesome!!! I'm getting old ,
What a show, what a team, great vibe! Hagar aged nicely, great humor and was careful with his voice! I have to attend this concert at all costs, rock on 🤘
Just got my sister and her husband tickets to sammy's st. Louis concert for her birthday. Shes never seen sammy. She took me to def leapord for my birthday. i had never seen them. I figured i would return the favor. Def lepord kicked ass. I hope she feels the same about sammy.
Extra happy because this gets Joe in front of many who are not too familiar with him. He is a legend a true master of the guitar. A teacher of guitar to Vai, Kirk and other greats. Great performance by this band which is as good as it gets. It’s all 🔥.
Bunch of old dudes in running shoes and ordinary clothes (might be very expensive ordinary clothes mind you, wouldn't know,...lol) making great music! Gotta love it. They look like they're having a great time doing it! Thank you for posting.
Looking forward to their show in Noblesville, Indiana. I’ve seen Van Halen 2 times with Sammy and once with Dave. They were all great, but Sammy was better. The one with Dave was in 2012. They didn’t have Michael and Dave can’t move around as great as he could back in the day. That was his thing vs his singing. He always had Michael’s great background vocals to make up the difference.
Satch seems like he is getting more comfortable playing Eddie's stuff. He sounded a little different than Eddie did on 5150, but he did a good job. I hope we get to see more of this stuff before they all hang it up.
Saw them in Toronto last week. Just brilliant!. Joe is a genius. Such a soulful player and honest with EVH's material. They look like their having so much fun. Bonham is a monster too.
Amazing - there’s just really no band that can compare to the music that came out of Van Halen-there are so many great artists so many great bands but really all you have to do is listen -the proof is in the music-everyone brings incredible talent and musicianship to all of the music and performances I could be here all day talking about how great this is-Joe really brought it. There were so many amazing moments and they all felt it when they happened. They all rocked Joe delivered -Bonham rocked -there’s no voice like Sammy Hagar in rock -amazing.

The only way to Rock with Sammy is to give the Guns Up and leave the devil pinky down.

Love it. Takes me back,to happy younger days. I am 58 now yeah, best years of my life. WAY TO GO.. RIP EDWARD...❤❤❤
Yeah, I’m sitting here 65 years old. I can sure remember those times back in the 80s. What good times
And good music
I'm 55 and this made me smile.
Same here. Same age. What a great show. Brought me back to 88 Tampa Stadium for Monsters of Rock even though no Eddie or Alex.
Hey,guys,if Sammy and Mikey,you can.

Excelent work Mr: Jim. Thank you from Sweden. Saw Van Halen tvice with Sammy and Sammy solo once. So glad to see him and the this band.
Wow .....That opening montage was amazing!!
Man I'm getting old, but you know what?
I still Can't Drive 55!
Thanks for the upload. I couldn't make the PNC show, and they aren't playing by me on Long Island or MSG so at least I can watch this.
Thanks a lot Jim for doing all these efforts for recording all the show. Amazing quality 👏
outstanding work Satch!!!!!!
Thaks for this wonderful show..!!, simply the best of Van Halen in 90's, I remember very well, very, very Nice..!

Nada mejor que ver cuando los integrantes de una banda disfrutan su presentación entre ellos, no tiene precio. Gracias muchachos 🤘
Thank you for the Upload. It seems like as the tour has progressed, the group as a whole is sounding better and better. Thank you again :D
Sammy 76, Michael 70, Joe 68, even Jason is 58... unreal... at that age to sound and play that good, still top of the food chain... wow
Thanks just listend to sammy on trunk.....was in mood for this!
Excellent work Jim. I rode down from Pittsburgh for this show, it didn’t disappoint, and your video brings it all back.
I will see this show in Los Angeles on Aug 19th. I can't wait. will be 91st Sammy Hagar show since 75'
MINES is the 20th in Phoenix, Yo!

I live in CT but was unable to make Bridgeport show. Thanks for posting!
Great Video! I was there and it was amazing!
They finally on this stage of the tour loosened up and are having fun....and thats when things are really happenning!!!
Steve Vai played with DLR, Joe played with Sammy Hagger. Those two guitar players have more in common that I would have ever expected.
Steve asked Joe for some pointers on the guitar. Joe said” ok but you have to take a hit of acid with me “ 😂 surfin with an alien 😂😂 true story !!
What a show, what a team, great vibe! Hagar aged nicely, great humor and was careful with his voice! I have to attend this concert at all costs, rock on 🤘
Probably save me 2 grand and I can watch this at home ... great f##ing band ...

Thanks to Sammy for putting this together can't believe Alex didn't want to be a part of it
Unbelievable that Sammy is closing in on 80 years old!
Joe is really finding his own groove with these songs. And wonderful blend if two of the greatest to strap on a guitar.
Joe is a alien from another planet great show
GnikcuF Satriani absolutely killed this last night, just a great show, well done! 🤘🏻🍻
