Whichever side are you on, Murad got just three friends who were loyal to him till their last breath : Musa, Silahtar, Emir gunne. He knew Huseyn was among them till his last but he was not.
I’m don’t think Silahatar was loyal to Murad in the end. He was deliberately trying to turn Murad against his mother, his brothers & his wife & he was preventing Pashas from even seeing Murad. Plus he got Murad to change the succession laws & probably got him to lock up his brothers which ends up getting Farya murdered & because she wasn’t there to protect them it led to Murad’s baby princes being murdered as well.

Kemankes didnt want Kösem to dethrone Mehmed. He even left her becouse of it. He came back becouse Husseyn told him they want to kill her.

If you are referring to the physician, then he was at fault for forcibly grabbing the other physicians bag that held Ibrahims medications in it, and making the older physician disclose Ibrahims location. Ending the dynasty was NEVER going to be a valid order. If you are referring to Yusuf Pasha, then he actively participated in trying to end the ottomans dynasty and empire. You can't kill the only remaining heir. That in itself was treason to the WHOLE POPULACE

Coming to Murad's order, Kosem too was doing that at last when she decided to kill Mehmet. Murad's point was clear. He knew his brother was not capable enough to stand in front of kosem, rather he would end up more miserably. Technically it was his kindness towards his brother.
End of the day,kosem is the villain of the story here. If she supported murad from the beginning instead of trying to control him, that would be way better for the dynasty. You just can't try make the owner of the throne a puppet, that is supposed to backfire naturally if he is competent. If kosem did the right thing, maybe Kasim wouldn’t die either. Murad may be seemed crazy at times,but he truly loved his brothers...

@@iftanik4604 Yesef effendi absolutely deserved to die though for partaking in trying to end the dynasty. It's treason on the grandest scale no matter how you dice it. I agree that Kosem played a huge part in all the Sultans and Sehzades deaths, I've never thought otherwise. With all that being said, your original comment was in regards to the physician and yes, he hands down deserved it.

There was literally no reason to kill Yassef Efendi. As the Sultan’s doctor, he did his job perfectly. Not his fault that the Sultan and Valide Sultan had disagreements
