I think Ottomans had a rule or something that ruling Valide Sultans couldn't get married. But she could retire after Ibrahim was executed. Because then, technically, Turhan would be the official Valide Sultan.

I read kosem history, actual she wanted to retire but many of the scholars et all wants her to rule than turan (lack of experience and too young) that is why kosem was again forced to rule again

see bro.. kosem loved ahmed from all her heart... iskander had absolutely wrong timing.. she would definitely let him down for ahmed.. she loved ahmed after all.. but after ahmed she wasa widow.. ruling the empire ... and kemankes was the most loyal to her and his deep concern about her .. often make her feel safe.. as u can see.. kemankes defied sultan for kosem.. he was dead loyal to her even when he knew it was end of kosem he still gave a fight ... he was loyal to kosem till his last breath... that's what was important to kosem .. she had a back to lean on at tough times
The writers in the series did the most injustice to Handan and Ayse. They blackened the names of Safiye,Ahmed,Osman,Mahfiruze,Murad,Kosem,Turhan,Gevherhan,Atike,Kemankes,Dervis and others with fake and pointless drama. Really shameful. Shame to writers.
Where's the never ending and pure love of Ahmed and kosem that started years ago!!! How can she betray Ahmed? Her first love? Her everything? Even if he's not with her, she should not forget him! Shame on kosem. Also, she had iskander behaded, and now ready with what she's doing with kameskesh! Ahmed would be so sad if he gets a chance to see from the heaven
Ahmed is dead. Kosem can't even remarry. She deserves some love in some kind of way. Besides they originally didn't like each other. Their friendship grew into this
