hi Ryan, do you think that having this youtube channel helps you get out of bed and make/do stuff? I find your videos so inspiring but I only seem to find energy to make art every month or so. Do you find that making a video holds you accountable to get stuff done or is it something you've already figured out how to do (separately from youtube)?
Hey, I did kind of figured this out well before I started a TH-cam channel. The best habit I ever built in terms of getting stuff done is just showing up. There are set times in my week where I work on my art and no matter what, I have those times blocked out. (During these times I also turn off my phone) Some days that time isn’t spent very constructively and others I’m incredibly productive, but the first step is just showing up when I said I was going to show up. I would suggest keeping the stakes low at first and just building up the exercise of showing up. You could set a time to work for a couple hours, show up and literally not do a damn thing, but you showed up and that’s good!Usually the simple act of sitting at my desk will get the gears going. Hope this answer helps.
WE’RE ALMOST AT 1K!! CONGRATS RYAN!
YEAAAH! THANK YOU
I’ve been avoiding this subject for far too long. My studio/office desperately needs to be reorganized. Perhaps it’s just an artists thing!
Yeah i think it’s just far too easy to get distracted by projects 😅
Looks great! I’ve been taking this weekend to finally clean up my crafting/sewing/music room. It feels good to declutter every once in a while.
Thank you! I agree, decluttering and making the creative space clean again always feels nice. Really helps get the creative juices flowing

Yes :)
My room is a dark cave of chaos.
Sounds like a good source for art
