@@Tobywedinikki I just love her so much and I have watched her videos for years and I have tried to always watch the advertising and wait to watch everything she does. She is such a strong woman and I know how hard it is for you to watch your child dying from cancer my daughter faced two rare cancers and lost her battle at 25 years old, this year made 7 she has been gone. Prayers are something we can do, no matter what we say right now her pain is still going to be there but it really helps to just know people care enough to even pray for her. Just keep her in your prayers and heart.
Absolutely! My heart breaks for her and her family. The best thing you can do is watch her videos to help her earn an income while she takes time to grieve this unimaginable loss 💔

Music is my go to when organizing. I may have some kind of ADHD because I have to sit still while listening to podcasts or books on tape. Or maybe it's FOMO not wanting to miss anything?
My only tip is have all white furniture. Truth be told I hate to dust and no one else uses my stuff so it stays clean but gets dusty. The other thing is making a list of what's in opaque bins so I don't have to wonder what specific items are in . Smaller items are in smaller see thru bins.
Last year, I loved a craft room redo Shannon did for her Mom. She used IKEA enclosed cabinets.

WOW!!!!! I have looked at hundreds upon hundreds of craft rooms..... This is by far the most normal - useful, - decortive, effective use of space and crafty area.... IT'S A CRAFT ROOM not a dressing room as many give off.... FANTASTIC USABLE AREA!!!! Closet is organize great (chaos organized perfectly) Thank you for sharing. I have A LOT, more than what you cleaned up and have.... 38+ years worth or wonderful item. And I at one time was a major craftstore manager .... soooo this video was very helpful to me. (the right furniture and containers for the furniture and product has always been the challenge to contain) You've mastered this perfectly for yourseld, Bravo - job well done. Honestly, my craft ideas and style has changed and maybe to some extent improved. I have nice times, some gently used that I no longer need, My dilemma is, I need to find a home(s) in which these supplies can be appreciated, not a donation drop-off! Any ideas!

In an effort to control my crafts clutter I challenged myself to whittle down my yarn stash in December and my fabric stash in January. So far I have made and donated two dozen knit caps. and now I am working on fabric grocery bags with all the extra fabric I have around. I am making a dent😊 wish me luck I have a long way to go 😂

I did the same thing and took hours, days to redo my room (s). I wanted to go through every single drawer and even take out every wood rubber stamp and organize. I have an "overflow" room 😁😀and did that one too. I like how you say to "shop your stash first" and I keep telling myself that. If I don't have the item I can't make that project. I also make cards, and do scrapbooking so I have a lot of items for a lot of different types of crafting. I hadn't scrapbooked in so long and it sure felt good to do it a few weeks ago.
I have so many things I haven't touched in years and i am telling myself next time I make a card, scrapbook, craft I need to use something that I haven't used in a long time. For instance I have So MUCH cardstock scraps so as I watched your video I have been putting it through my MANY embossing folders. That is a win win, less cardstock, cleaner room under one of my tables and I'm ready to make a thousand cards LOL!!

OMG! Whitney you have inspired me. I needed this so bad. I've watched other "organization" videos and these lovely ladies get on there and they talk about how unorganized their space is and then they show before and after pics. Ok seriously they may have been a little cluttered. But I love that you showed over flowing bags and containers full of craft stuff on the floor. Although your space isn't near as bas as mine, it still gave me hope that my space is recoverable. Now I am not by any means being mean. Oh lord, sorry, just thank you for keepin it real!!!! I don't have a craft room at all. We thought we were going to be able to create one in our 40 foot storage container out back. However, it has taken longer than expected to get ready. So supplies are in the bedroom and dining area. Sometimes, I craft in the living room 😂. But I have realized how much "stuff" I have accumulated and am currently purging. Baby steps! I love to see how you all store and set up, etc ❤

Great organizing job! I use that same IKEA island as my crafting station and love it. I had my husband attach a fairly large plug strip right to the side of the island. I then have 3 more of these islands in different configurations along the wall behind the one I use as my desk. Then I have Kalax units on top of 2 of the islands behind my work island. My machines and their tools on the 3rd island. This has made such a difference for me. Congratulations on your successful and beautiful room.

Omg your before room looks exactly like mine. I've been cleaning it for 6 mos now. Its spilled over into other rooms. I had so much dollar tree stuff that went to the goodwill. I really have to stop dollar tree diys cuz it took over my life. I want to do my craft room like you have. I've really love wood working, tshirts resin and stuff that doesn't look or need dollar tree. Sorry if it offends anyone but it seriously was out of control and I hardly made anything just watched, wanted to, then never did. A DT craft here or there is what I have to limit myself now. My problem is I have jewlery making beads and fixings, Scrapbookking supplies. crafting supplies, Plate making supplies, All my florals, and card making supplies, To many hobbies!! Absolutely! I’m naturally messy, so I get so discouraged when I see other rooms that are never out of place. It had to get worse before it got better 😂
"I cried a couple of times...", lol!!! Story of my life...I cry when I get frustrated, too. Great stress reliever and it keeps me off the roof, lol. Your room looks amazing! I have a craft room that looks like your before picture, so this gives me much hope. 😍

So good to see a realistic room. Utilising what you already have and adding more storage. Not another all white room with rows of coloured paints, inks etc. these look like shops and are to perfect to do messy activities .

I don't have a craft room at all. We thought we were going to be able to create one in our 40 foot storage container out back. However, it has taken longer than expected to get ready. So supplies are in the bedroom and dining area. Sometimes, I craft in the living room . But I have realized how much "stuff" I have accumulated and am currently purging. Baby steps! I love to see how you all store and set up, etc

Im working on de-clutting my sewing room right now. I have listened to Audible for over a year now. I love reading but just didnt like how unproductive I was just sitting. Now I grab a book from Audible and head to either my craft or sewing room. I get so much work done and the added bonus is I finished a book. Love it. TFS

This was such a great video. Thank you for sharing your mess because it was real! People who do many crafts have a problem others don't understand. lol I see pictures of craft and sewing rooms where everything matches but I'm more like you where I'm trying to use what I have. I have been decluttering and organizing for the past 6 months! I’m 70 so I’m slowly moving towards a home that does not look like I have lived here for 45 years! Lots of updates and lots of stuff in general! I started with my craft room and due to anxiety and depression issues I definitely learned you have to do this in short intervals and take a break. I have not really used my craft room yet because I keep going to the next room and for me crafting is a luxury time and I’m messy at whatever I do! I’ve decided to give myself grace and let it be okay to craft if I keep my bedroom and my craft room clean for a week then I get a whole day to craft! So your video looked like so many of the craft room organization tips and tricks you showed. I got 95 % of my ideas from TH-cam so after 8 rooms 5 closets a garage and a shed I think I’m ready to play awhile then declutter again. Maybe this time I won’t be quite so overwhelmed and keep my donations going out the door on a weekly basis instead of a daily basis!! Thanks so much for all your uplifting things you say and do!!!
