    This is a great video. I wish after being shuffled around between numerous dentists and oral surgeons that at least one would have explained what you have done in 12 minutes. After an accident I ended up with a mess in my mouth. Long story short, I’m now sitting here without any teeth and have those horrible dentures, the kind that are hard to wear. I can’t eat with them, I won’t go anywhere and I can’t stand to look at myself in the mirror. It’s like here in the U.S. money is more important than patient care. I 💯% know that it takes a lot to build a practice and everything that goes into it. I worked for a urologist for almost 9 years, so I totally get it. What I don’t understand is why or how someone in the medical field can tell a patient only part of what options are available to help them. Maybe it’s because the Dr I worked for was the kindest man and his patients were number one. I wish you wasn’t so far away. You appear to have a kind heart and that you care for each and every patient you see. Your heart is in this not your wallet. Thank you for sharing this amazing video. ❤

    Most Excellent description of the various implants and versions of each. Excellent explanation between 3on6 being a name brand manufacturer and have a set regiment to their implants where also an individual dentist can do the same thing and have more freedom to fit it to a particular mouth depending on gum depth etc. A lot of variables to consider and the specifically 3 on 6 does not allow for full freedom on Dentists. The all on 4 is a very good presentation of what that is. I like a Dentist to consider how minimal the gum brace needs to be in my mouth so they are also be secure and give the right Aesthetics when laughing. Great Job Doctor!! Sounds like All on 4 is good for a few mouths but most they need to peform it in sections similar to 3 on 6.

    Thank you so much for all the useful, critical information you provide in all your videos. You have answered alot of my questions about what to do, options i need to consider and everything involved now that i have lost all my teeth. My husband works hard to provide for me and our 3 kids, so whatever route i decide to go with, I need to know everything and every option because success is critical. Dentures are not going well for me at all, and i am planning 8 implants soon, 4 top and 4 bottom. And i am really trying to research what i can attach to them. I want the least amount of materials in my mouth as possible. I didnt realize when i went to get all my teeth pulled and replaced, that i was actually commiting to having the entire inside of my whole mouth made of plastic. The only thing real i can feel is my tongue. I cant do it. So i need these implants to be super successful m. So thanks again, your videos are amazing and informative, doen to earth, and you seem like a really great guy.

    As a single mother, with extremely limited finances ergo researching this medical remedy (as I am told I desperately need to do something) followed your ALL in 4 Video, now checking this option as I do care about my teeth and had a disastrous encounter 2 + years ago with implants overseas (given it was the cheaper alternative). Now that needs serious rectification as my sinuses are punctured et all. Zillions of videos by 'experts' on You Tube. You strike me as being extremely, balanced, sensible and giving genuine advise. Sat sri Kalji you have my respect. Thank you for your invaluable learnings which you share with us. Great information, especially regarding the ability to replace implants should the need or desire arise.
    I avoided removable supported denture because I don't like acrylic, they wear fast and break easy.
    Also I like the ability to eat everything I want with a fixed bridge without discomfort and not certain that would've been possible with the removable denture.
    The only problem I have with a fixed bridge is hygiene

    So expensive here in the States. $50k just for a lower & upper set. I haven't smiled since the 8th grade because I had these fang type teeth growing out of the front of my mouth.
    Now I'm over 50yrs old on SSI/DI and all of my teeth have broken off at the gums & my gums have grown over them. 21 extractions is needed at $100 plus each, then an "All on 4" as around $48k USD. How can a Disabled Person afford this? I can't even afford dentures! I can't eat a soft peach & haven't been able too for over 20yrs. This is a health issue & should be covered by Health Insurance but it's not.

      @@drgurssehmi Hello Dr. 👋👋 I just found you. :) I am contemplating getting snap in dentures that will require 2 bone grafts, one upper and one lower. I am 64 with pacemaker/ defibrillator and concerned as I just read a news story about all the injuries that happen. They also stated that alot of dentists DO NOT HAVE PROPER TRAINNG TO DO THIS Procedure. 😬😬😬😬To make things alot scarier they stated it is very difficult to get information on Denrist who m did horrible implants and injured people. My dentist said I will need two implants in the lower jaw for a plate and four implants in the upper jaw for that plate. I was estimate quoted $26,000 for the procedure. My fear is I will empty my savings just to be told it will cost thousands more, 😒 and risk my health. Is it typical to have problems that can cost the patient way more than quoted? How do I pick a properly trained Dr?? I realise you can't probably answer me but thought I would ask. Wish you were practicing in the US, you are quite knowledgeable and honest.

    • @paula4910
      @paula4910 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That is the issue, if you are removing them every day the implants will experience added stress and wear out quicker. The video shows how tightly they were secured in the snaps. That will be cause significant wear not only on the implants but also the receptacles on the denture.

    • @MikeNewland
      @MikeNewland 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Presumably replaceable but everything in dental is expensive. Try all on four and they have to be convex at the top to hide the abutments. Thus uncleanable. .@@paula4910

    4:07 Here in Canada Periodontist calls these ALL 0n-4-teeth PROSTHETICS... not dentures. Goes over MUCH better... just as the word "flipper" for a temporary partial or denture sounds much much better. Actually 'partial' doesn't sound as bad, but the word DENTURE just has such bad connotation to it, IMO best to not use it. This word should actually be buried, along with George Washington's 'dentures' (no, they were not wood!)
    Just an FYI to Dentists, who may well see a lot of similarities between Implanted Prosthetic teeth and dentures..... believe me, patients do NOT! Telling a Patient they will be getting a Fixed Prosthetic, makes for a MUCH HAPPIER client than telling them they are getting a Fixed denture, or Fixed false teeth.

    I am terribly financially strapped here in the USA a set of dentures are $5000 dollars which in about half my annual income. I further have the problem of having mound that is bone growths that are on my jaw. My denture has always needed to cut this area out. Which has worked except now my lower denture broke. I tried the home made denture solution and that didn't work very well the denture fit ok except where the mound was I couldn't grind that area out as the material used to make the home made denture is made of a different material and when I tried to grind the opening the gum melted. Now I am using a lower from an old set of dentures and upper from another set. the bite is terrible. I don't have a clue what to do.

    I never understood why you can’t use regular implants and be able to remove the denture like with mini implants. The only difference by taking them out is that you were able to clean them daily and keep the implants in better condition like you said. Once you get past the idea of having to take your teeth out it’s the same thing. The only differences a dentist can take them out. Once you get past that idea it’s better for you to take them out yourself.

    How about discussing functionality of the different solutions. I got false teeth about 5 years go and in my opinion it is total rubbish. 1950 Technology at 2017 price. Everyone is always concerned with the aesthetics of the solution - zero functionality. Please give us that important information in a next video.

      This is a really good idea. You are right, I always look at things from an aesthetic angle first. Let me think about this one, I think a lot of people would find this useful. Thank you for the idea :)

    I have removable dentures. And I would never have implants because I have had enough inflammations in my mouth over many years because of bad teeths. . Removable dentures are much better for the health. It's not healthy to have metal skrous skroud in to the yaw. Metal skrous is best in planks when building house or something. Not in the mouth.

    Where are you located?? What is the average cost of this procedure. My wife and I were given a consultation by Clear Choice for dental implants; we were both floored; $95K

    I just want to not have to remove dentures for hospital procedures. It's the final humiliation when already feeling vulnerable. British dentures are very false looking.
