For Compound Microscope Tube Length, in NCERT it is given as separation between the Focus of Objective and Eyepiece. That gives a different result for magnification: m = L/fo (1+ D/fe)
Exactly i was thinking the same i am very confused. In case of compound microscope separation between lens is not tube length. it is given by L=Vo +Ue ( separation) and tube length is given by(M=- D×Lo/Fo×fe) but in case of telescope it is separation bw lens and given by in general(L=Vo+ Ue) . M soch rhi m hi glt hu n m ye har jgha find kr rhi thi?
This is a very serious thing....... Either NCERT has got something wrong or the source from where sir got the info has some problem....... In case of NEET, 'NCERT' can be considered to be God, so maybe the wrong concept is being taught year after year...... Or, maybe the paper setters use the concept that sir has given.... Only a professional physicist can say the final word on this matter...... Can anyone help??
I still can't understand how this Pogi thing works. It isn't an animation, because sir actually alters and writes perfectly, and for that to happen, the drawing has to be there in real. And, if sir actually pauses the video and draws it, then at 17:20 he is actually moving while Pogi draws the diagram. If anyone can figure out how it is done, do let me know !
You know the best thing about u... U teach everything derived from ncert knowledge which helps in effective understanding of ncert book.... Thank u soo much sir......
sir I have a doubts at the time 30:48 in the values of u and v By Len's Formula: 1/v - 1/u = 1/f By rearranging, 1/v = 1/f + 1/u Simplifying further, 1/v = (u+f)/uf Therefore, v = uf/(u+f) but you have written on the board v = uf/(u-f) I have the same doubt for the value of u also please clarify my doubt
39:27 sir but for the same in ncert, theyve considered the distances between the focus of eye piece and objective lens as 'L', but here you considered it as distances between the lenses, so which one should we do !?

sir I have a doubts at the time 30:48 in the values of u and v
By Len's Formula:
1/v - 1/u = 1/f
By rearranging,
1/v = 1/f + 1/u
Simplifying further,
1/v = (u+f)/uf
Therefore,
v = uf/(u+f)
but you have written on the board
v = uf/(u-f)
I have the same doubt for the value of u also
please clarify my doubt
arey sir ne sign convention pakad ke formula diya he ,hume sirf magnitude dalna he
