I am a strength coach for Collegiate Women's Rugby and Netball. There's is a point there re the "sexism". We have a small flimsy gym with limited equipment. Then men don't train there - they get the provincial rufby team's gym. Women are also more likely to skip gym sessions due to tests or classes. They don't get contracts or scholarships. So they have nothing to fall back in, thus prioritizing their academics. Men's rugby team get contracts and scholarships. So they have to attend their strength sessions.

Toes straight is pathetically rare nowadays. The toes-out unwinds the ACL PCL and creates space for slack and movement; and speed, slam your foot down and change direction, you have a lot of force on the ligament. Do that frequently and SNAP

If i heard that correctly, the foundation laid out, q angle, knock knees, quad to hamstring ratio doesnt matter.
If strength training (squat and deadlift) was the key. Then you wouldnt see those numbers og acl tears in the collegiate or pro teams. ie the S& C program would negate the potential cause of injury
One thing that was touched on 17minute mark. Was the emotional aspect, and if you look at it through that lens, German New medicine has a "conflict context" for the knees as a "physical performance self devaluation" conflict.
It was highlighted to me a long time ago. "What happens in the body, happens in the mind. What happens in the mind, happens in the body"
If thats not the case and you could separate it, if its only a biomechanical issue and strength training was the solution, then almost no collegiate or pro teams would have the high rates of injury?

Any running sport that requires sudden change of direction. And sports on grass have no consistency from one field to another.

So how did CrossFit athletes Sara Sigs and Colleen Fotsch both tear their ACLs during a jerk? Why did that happen?

Greg needs to get checked man. His face is completely pink like Patrick star. Not even a dig just concern. On the topic of acl tears, I think that’s great info. I’ve been an athlete my whole life with no tears but my sister has had 2. Makes you wonder
