Anni-Frid Lyngstad, better known by her popular nickname Frida, is a Swedish singer and part of one of the most highly acclaimed bands in pop, ABBA. The band shot to fame in 1974 when they performed Waterloo, the song that won them Eurovision and had them rise to a cult status, ruling the pop world from the 70s and to the 80s, until they eventually broke up. Anni-Frid was one of the lead vocalists but despite her success, she was harboring a dark secret.

Good lord, Frida's story was revealed 60 years ago, nobody has feared anything. She has had a fantastic life, with bad spots like most of us.

This beautiful, strong, courageous woman was NO Lebensborn!! Many facts ain't right here....
First of all Heinrich Himmler told all his soldiers to have as many arayan children as possible with Norwegian women. They were perfect stock. They were accepted as lebensborn and could be left at a lebensborn home if the mothers wanted. Alfred Hausse was already married with 3 children in Germany. He took off before Frida was born and never tried to contact her or her mother. I'd be willing to bet she wasn't his only Norwegian child

Why bring all this up, are we bothered, she was part of what was one of the best band. Her singing was first class and we should accept how good she was. Best advice try looking for something of interest and leave genuine people alone
Lorsque l'on découvre la vie de Frida ou autre membre de AABA je me sens envahie d'une tristesse immense. J'ai tellement aimé et dansé sur leurs chansons en Amérique du Nord Britannique au Québec Canada. Frida semble avoir été une personne très résiliente :)
As a boy I loved Agnetha, but as I matured I grew to appreciate Anni-Frid's vocal talent and beauty.
And Bjorn and Benny are musical geniuses too.

I know the history about her father since 1977. I read in BRAVO (German youth-newspaper) but I didn't know the sad story of her youth.

She's NOT Swedish shes Norwegian.
Her father was also German.
But she left Norway as a baby. She was raised there, speaks Swedish not Norwegian, has been a Swedish citizen most her life. She's for all purposes Swedish. Norway doesn't deserve to claim her after they ran her and her mother out of the country. Had Frida stayed it wouldn't have been pretty for her. No wonder she wants nothing to do with Norway

This kind of content is trash, coz simple facts about Frida/ABBA which have been well known to, and respected by us ABBA fans (through validated interviews and documentaries) for the last few decades, but have been presented here as something shocking and controversial and only recently discovered ..not to mention the misrepresentation misrepresentation of fact (ABBA announced their new album Voyage in 2021, not 2017)
