  • This week we're finally learning how to flip on a wakeboard!
For many of us, this is so scary, however there are two secrets to making it easier and less intimidating:
    1. Know your basics - if you've followed the series you'll be well able for it.
    2. Learn it step by step, doing it 1 wake first.
For many people, a backflip (tantrum) is an easier invert to learn, however everyone is different, so learn what you think will suit you best.
I really hope this how to video helps, and good luck!

Learned my backroll with David’s tips. What really helps me land it everytime is focusing on keeping my eyes open the entire time!

I’d like you to know, you’re not alone in this!!! That’s my biggest thing too. Closing my eyes and it’s such a HARD thing to break.

Thank you for the new approach. I was always told that two hands on the handle is an essential element of backroll. And it hurts when you fall with two hands on the handle. =) Will try this new approach as soon as I get to the boat next week.

Well I'm still at the wake to wake 180 stage. Seems like a massive leap of faith to go up to this or any flip 🤪 but a great video none the less. Just wish they were a little longer with more tips and detail..

I can try add in more details - one thing I always think is it's important not to overcomplicate things, particularly when people are just trying it for the first time :)

Can you please do a "what's possible" video once your done the zero to hero series. I'd love to see what can be done from a rear tow point for those of us who don't have a big wake or a tower. Also I'm loving this series I'm finally landing some wake to wake 180's

Roll to revert would probably be the closest ration from your heels
