Félix Houlala you can also use a hairdryer on a cool setting (thats what I do). It will take longer and also leave them to dry naturally for a while after using the hairdryer before taking off the forms. Hope this helps! 😁

Yes, my friend has nice long natural nails but if she wants more of a long nail, her mum does them but she uses the forms that go under the nails. She had the white so it matched her nails and lasted for 3-4 weeks without chipping or snapping x hope that helped x

My husband and I were just saying how nice it would be to be able to d9 something like this to cut down on filing. Now I’m off to find out where to get dual forms. Hope this turns out and well as it does on the video. Nice job
It's definitely less work, at least for me :) E-file is a great way to cut down time on filing :)
Susannah Lawson I also found I can put the polygel on the regular nail forms with the duel forms. For me it is a very clean way...as far as underneath the nails. You can do this with regular acrylic also. I did purchase the duel forms on AliExpress, and on eBay. I have 5 brands of the polygel. I purchased a 60 oz tube in the black polygel. Love it!
Personally I find it easier to sculpt the nail. Polygel is very user friendly, it's not like a hard gel it won't slide all over before you get it in the lamp. When I use dual forms I end up filling just as much (this video had quite a bit of filing you can tell by the finished shape) and I find it almost impossible to keep it off my cuticle.
I totally suggest trying both, the dual forms are cheap and so are adhesive nail forms. And I agree with the channel artist, an e-file is essential in my life. Even if you can get away with minimal filing of the initial nail you will want it come time for a fill.
How long do these normally last? Do they feel as strong as acrylics?

Beautiful nails! I would like to know if you flash cure each nail one by one or Do you do them all at once and then cure them under the uv lamp?
You can do both. When I'm working on myself I flash cure because it's easier when filming, but I also did the full hand at once on someone else and product really didn't move at all. I'd suggest to cure one finger at the time if you are just starting out with polygel :)

Turned out beautiful. Can't see an apex or the thickness from the top view so was wondering if they are thick enough not to break or lift near side walls? Should I add another layer to build the apex and thicken to avoid breaks?
It depends how you place the form and how much product you add inside. You can always add another layer of Polygel if the apex is missing

Once you’ve cured and popped off the dual form can you add more of the polygel to make the nail thicker? I’ve never seen anyone add poly gel after the form has been removed I am just curious to know if this will affect the durability of the nail or if it’s even possible.
You could add another layer but I would rough a surface with a file to make it stick better.

Ok so I love everything abt this product except that 2 popped of the next day on my daughters after I did them. I noticed It didn't come with a primer so help it adhere so how do you make them stay?
Prep the nails (push back cuticle, buff the natural shine) then clean the nail plate with acetone to dehydrate it and get rid of any oils and dust. Make sure when placing the forms there are no air pockets and that the product does not touch the cuticles. It takes some time to learn how to work with this product, don't get discouraged xoxo Hope that helps! :)

Yes.
I wonder in what you are dipping this brush to form the gel in mould because when I do that gel sticks to brush and it's hard to form it nicely.

Hello, i need to use special Base & Top Coat for polygel, or i can use the Base & Top Coat for semi - permanent nail polish?
It's recommended to follow manufacturer instructions because they tested the compatibility of the products, but if you are only doing your own nails you can always experiment 👍

No, not really. But I have some more practice 😉 It might be quite confusing for a beginner. Remember to prep a nail plate well

At the end after u buff them, u r wiping them off. Is it just a plain pad or one dipped in alcohol?

Lint free wipe was dipped in alcohol / nail cleanser. I got the wipes on Aliexpress, I'm sure you can look for them on Amazon as well if you don't feel like waiting 2 months 😅
Dual form should be placed close to the cuticle but not too close, because when you press the form down the product might flood the cuticle and you'll get lifting soon. When you're between sizes of dual forms go bigger. There should be some space for the product and the form should fit sidewall to sidewall. Hope that helps ❤️

You can warm up a whole tube to soften the polygel. Don't mix it with water.

So I just bought the starter kit. I was wondering do I add designs b4 baking or after? I plan on adding gem stones and loose glitter. How would that work with this gel?
I'd build the nail and finished it (file to shape, bufft) and then glued stones using clear Polygel, and glitter with Gel top coat :)

Place Polygel in the form, place the form onto your nail and then put it inside the lamp to cure. If you are a beginner it's a good idea to do one finger at the time 😉

Nails will be too flat with just the nail tips. Also product might stick to them.
Can you use any brand of gel top and base coat, or does it have to be the Rossi one?
It's recommended to use base coat from the same brand because they tested it. You might or might not have some issues while mixing brands.

Did you cured all the nails at the same time after putting the polygel?
It depends on your experience you could do all the fingers at the same time or do it one by one 😉 Nice method is also to "freeze cure" for 15s a finger just to stop it from moving and then cure the whole hand full cycle. 👍
Can you use this as just your extension to add dip powder on top?
Yes but I'd make it thinner with Polygel before applying Dip powder

So I’ve seen videos of people trying the older product of the same brand and the common problem was that the finish was a waxy material, and was lifting. Would you say you’ve had this problem? And do you think the newer product is much different? I would love to hear from you before I invest in it, Thank you!!
Waxy? I haven't had this problem. It seems to be like every other Polygel I have tried, maybe just a bit harder to file than others. Maybe they had different formula in the past idk
