Hey @spoodergwen just so u know you can also play those bent notes by rolling in the headjoint! But I have to say, open holed flutes sound better (my taste) so go for it!😅

An excellent piece (as always)! Invites a sense of hwyl, intrigue, and that Halloween Spirit I can best describe is festive and appealingly spooky. I loved the way both you, and the flautist playing incorporated the flutter tongue into the song, as well. I've noticed a few more extended or less traditional techniques in the more recent songs, and just wanted to say they have opened by eyes to the flute's expressive repertoire. Thank you as always, Herman!

You don't need an open hole flute for this... It all happens with the embouchure and headjoint angle
