    After dealing with the pandemic,I regret not being a flight attendant earlier in my life because I want to travel a lot more in the future. I have a daughter but she is almost 12,lives with her mom and doesn't need me much. I am in my 40's and I want to be a flight attendant. :)

    Thank you for giving us “Pro’s and Con’s” on becoming a flight attendant. I’ve been debating with myself about becoming one after I graduate college. I needed a change from what I’m doing now.
    My biggest concern was the pay (salary).
    Question: are you guaranteed a set certain hours a week and/or month to make set salary ?

      @TheDailyDeparture  4 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      Pay is the hardest part next being the away from home bit. For my airline when you are on call you get a set 75 hours no matter what you fly. Line months you do not, you get paid what you fly 😓

    Thank you for your videos. If you are given a home base outside of your home State and you have to pay for expenses to live at that home base, how can you survive on the FA salary? Please advise. Thank you.

      I would recommend saving up as much money as you can before going to training… but also if you end up moving to the place you are based and not commuting you can pick up more trips to make extra money or work a second job like some do.

    Hi there. I used to be like you since I used to have no fear of flying. But
    that all changed when I was on a flight that crashed. I survived that
    crash, but it left me with a fear of flying.
    Have you ever felt scared during a flight? And do you know anyone who
    is like me?

    • @TheDailyDeparture
      @TheDailyDeparture  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Wow that is a pretty scary story, im sorry you had to experience something like that!
      For turbulence I’ve never been afraid of flying. If I ever get “nervous” I would say it has more to do with when I’m in the aisle with the heavy cart out. I would hate to have unexpected severe turbulence with that situation

    When there is an overnight layover, does the company pay for your hours "on the road", and provide a hotel, a stipend for food, and such?

    Hello , I have one question. I have my f2f interview coming up. However I see on envoy air website that we have to relocate to a different based however. Do they help you provide housing or the funds to move to a different base.?

    Cars can pull over to the side of a road and wait. Boats can temporarily stop moving on an ocean and wait. Trains on rails can come to a stop and wait. But airplanes for some strange reason need to keep moving at all times or they'll crash. Now tell me how flying is "the safest mode of transport".
