So relaxing to watch fountain pen videos! Ahhh!! I will probably stop watching any news video for the next four years and only watch fountain pen videos!!
@@jartecus I mean, just for a little while. I also got new responsibilities at work and I'm swamped for the next weeks/months, but I'll soon look into registering to work with the party I vote for (not USA but this stuff trickles here so I want to do something two years from now.)
I love fountain pens but dont usually have the money to buy more, so watching these videos is always fun because I get to live vicariously through your collection!
Looks like some really neat paper! I'm only a hobbyist, honestly, but it's fun to see videos like this, people testing out stuff that I can't personally afford, and seeing what I might want once I have a bit more cash on hand.
Most important part is how well something works. If something is designed right so its made well you don't have to spend much to get quality pens. Nib tuning and grinding is a ton of fun too. Can turn a basic bland pen into a favorite with a few tweaks to a nib
I really like your reviews because you go into the more technical details of the manufacturing process. I started out my professional career as a mechatronics technician in Germany before venturing more into the data security management route, and it’s always a hit of nostalgia when you point out a particularly well-crafted grip section with knurling, for example. Thank you and keep it up! Nice to see your sub count go up, as well!
I came for the paper, but I love a triangular shaped fp so I stayed! I also loved the lighter, the flint inside and its colour and shape are sooo unique! So is the bullet shape of the fountain pen, unique! I love unique items!❤❤❤❤
The Top Drawer in Boston was lovely the one time I wandered in there. It was just me and the guy working there, we talked pens and paper for like an hour!
I always love your videos! I have loved brass since I was a Boy Scout 60 years ago. I suppose I am one of the few people in the world who actually enjoyed polishing my brass belt buckles both in Scouts and in the Army! Over the years since then I have learned to enjoy the patina brass develops from use as a fountain pen does.
I have the Avogadro's number stamped on my brain from university too, you're not weird Doodlebud 😂 Lovely paper ! And lots of cool accessories, will definitely check that store out.
Im very new to fountain pens and came across your channel when I was looking up some pens i was thinking of getting. So enjoy watching them and the knowledge you bring and share is so helpful as I learn.
Interesting new pen! The coated paper is intriguing; always good to see new technical developments. I will have to look into Top Drawee. Thanks for reviewing.
What a great video. I loved that brass pen and the paper really has me intrigued! That Prince lighter is so cool ! It’s so beautifully designed with incredible style! Thank you for the informative video I’m glad I found you
This video was great! Thanks for the introduction to this new pen seller. I’m a huge sucker for raw metal pens. This one looks quite distinguished! I’m really digging the lighter too. It’s like a Japanese zippo! I don’t use lighters much but fortunately for our hobby, we can use it for our wax seals. Thanks DB
The brass fountain pen is really cool. I am glad you mentioned how complex the different shapes on the pen were made. The transition between the triangle and circular part of the pen is fascinating to me.
I was traveling through San Francisco and went to one of their stores and bought a couple of the Romeo notebooks! They had a darker color of paper than I usually use, but I loved the feel of writing on them. Highly recommend them as well.
It is a nice touch that they include the pen “slipper” along with the pen. I wish more companies would include some sort of pen case/slipper with the pen. I do like the brass over the aluminum. That paper also looks very interesting.
I appreciate how your thoughts on the design of the pen and its potential flaws while still appreciating its strong points. Also very curious about this paper. It looks lovely!
Thank you so much! That Romeo notebook looks wonderful for drawing! (it's spiral bound, and has blank thick paper!) Ehime could mean Older princess and once again, thank you so much.
I really like that pen. The shape is interesting, and it looks to be a great writer. Also, the raw brass will age beautifully. I’ve heard a lot of good things about the Romeo notebook paper, I’d love to try it for myself!
I'm new to fountain pens, but just happened to buy the small Romeo notebook with my first pen as a reference for what writing on high quality paper could/should feel like. It's impressive to me, but what do I know really yet. It was great to see your take on it. Thanks!
So relaxing to watch fountain pen videos! Ahhh!! I will probably stop watching any news video for the next four years and only watch fountain pen videos!!
Very relatable 😭 time to immerse myself in hobbies and art even more
I've been putting ink swatching videos to play and not even looking at the screen, I just need the sound to drown the thoughts 😂
A reliable way to stay sane and stable in the coming days/years. Good plan.

The triangle pen looks really interesting. I'm glad you have a nice pair of slippers. This is a nice video. Thank you for your time.
I love fountain pens but dont usually have the money to buy more, so watching these videos is always fun because I get to live vicariously through your collection!
That pen "slipper" is too cute and now I have the urge to sew a bunch of them
What a lovely assortment of items!
I love your handwriting. Thank you for doing this generous giveaway!
Always love to see people playing around with pen shapes more.
Looks like some really neat paper! I'm only a hobbyist, honestly, but it's fun to see videos like this, people testing out stuff that I can't personally afford, and seeing what I might want once I have a bit more cash on hand.
Nice pocket fountain pen and slippers. The lighter is a old fashion beauty, and the notebook looks great
Slippers are the best! Whether for your feet, or for a pen, I appreciate the sensation of being bundled up in layers on November mornings.
i love the application of your detail orientated engineering brain for the practicality and durability and detail of these fountain pens!
Definitely a great looking pen, I'm a sucker for heavy metal so I'm partial :D Thanks for offering us the chance to get one!
I love that notebook! Sooooo smooth it’s tough to explain to someone who hasn’t used it.
That pen looks sturdy! Great for field work. And who doesn’t love silky paper?! Very cool.
The pen is an interesting design for a brass pen. The variety of stuff they sent you made the video very interesting. Thanks. 👍
Size 15 shoes, wow! The voice fits. I love that triangular pen and the little "pen slipper" is adorable.
My favorite pen reviewer. And one of my top channels for any topic. Thanks for the low key friendly style.
Such kindness and generosity. Much Appreciated. Love watching your videos.
Very cool to have a new manufacturer of not just a pen, but of good FP paper as well. So many pens and inks, but only a handfull of good paper around.
Hi DB! As totally fascinating as the fountain pen and papers were, I'm fascinated by that lighter! Very cool! Thanks for sharing!
What a lovely journal! Im a sucker for a brass pen, but that romeo took me by surprise!

That's some luxurious stuff indeed. I somehow like the fact that most people out there will not realize just how nice this is.
The best and only fountain pen channel I subscribe to.

So glad the slippers work, I'm only a 13 but EEE so finding things that work gets difficult. Have to look into those!

I hope someday I can slow down enough to learn that kind of penmanship. Mine is more like scribbling on the go. Love those notebooks.
