On January 21st 2021, we had an opportunity to provide a better home for two elephants. The elephant, Kham Moon, and her baby elephant, Pyi Mai, will come to the Park. Not so far, we arrive already at Elephant Nature Park. Wan Mai's family and other herd members rush to greet their new friends.

I'm a crusty old blue collar guy who doesn't get too emotional or wear my feelings on my sleeve, but this made my heart sing. I would love to see this entire story documented. I love elephants. They are a blessing and a gift to the world.
I love elephants too. They are so loving and intelligent. I love the way they stick their trunks in and sniff and pet the new elephants.

I always think of elephants as being hairless but I love how cute and fuzzy the infants are 💚

Oh my gosh.... RIGHT!??? When I see their long bristly chin hairs, I'm always so shocked, I laugh right out loud! They're SO beautiful!
adult elephants must have the same amount of hair, it's just that on a smaller body like the one of a baby elephants it's easier to see. They do look like they have small beards sometimes, and raised hair on their head ^^ really cute
Elephants actually aren't hairless! They've got little prickly hairs that you don't see until you're closer. I was surprised when I saw for the first time, haha. Went to an elephant sanctuary in Thailand and they were amazing!

Always love how their herds of elephants happily rushing over to welcome and comfort the newbies, and assuring them this is the most safest place on Earth, with the most dedicated loving people in there. I really don't understand some people who spread hatred in videos like this. What do they want ?
These elephants are taken care well by people in this country and you ignored all of their goodness and yet push forward depravity you absorbed from your own surroundings struggling to represent them only bad side belonging to others because you can't accept the truth that the world around yourself is terrible mostly because of your own terrible attitudes you developed by experiencing bad things in your life then generalized them to things on earth you see through your self-centered standpoint.
Please stop spreading your darkness to people with lucid minds. Your hatred should irritate good people's pleasures no more.

Good video. I never realised that Kha Moon had actually responded to the greetings of the Wan Mai herd ... other videos I've seen have only shown her responding fearfully.
Its probably later after a few days when she realises she and bubs are safe.

Wow! This greeting ceremony is so beautiful, so heartily they greet! So natural unlike the human being. We always try to be unnatural, fashionable, too bad.
Elephants are incredibly emotional and have amazing memory capacity. They are truly majestic creatures we should be friends with and it breaks my heart that they are hunted and killed for for sport and for ivory. Some are getting dyed/painted pink rendering them useless saving them from being killed. Don Jr killed an elephant and cut off it's tail and posed holding it up in the air with it while smiling for a pic. Is that sadistic evil or what? Psychotic. Disgusting.
"Come here baby, we are your uncles and aunts. And here are your cousins, come out and play together!" I am pretty sure that's what they said when they greeted the new arrivals.

It is always amazing to watch how a whole herd of elephants will come runnng to greet a newcomer and make them welcome. So much intelligence and compassion in them. I am a historian and was always fascinated by the stories of war elephants but now it just breaks my heart to realize for how long we have been harming these peaceful, loving creatures, hunting them, forcing them to work or transport us even today they are still used and abused it's horrible and stop

I love this the herd came running & the adults checked out the momma & let her know she & her baby were very welcomed to join the family. The babies were so curios of the new little one. Smiles all around.
