I fish this reel with light jerkbaits and it casts amazingly (5 to 8 gram). The US price though is absolutely ridiculous. This is basically an ABU branded DOYO reel and never ever worth this price. You can purchase directly from Japan for less than half the US price. Just my 2 cents….
that reel is more of a power BFS application, upper higher-end weight spectrum in the BFS genre. That reel the spool is too heavy for anything below 3g (1/8oz); the spool physical weight is over 10g; to heavy to consider a ultra--light BFS reel Plus for that price the braking system is just a basic plan mag-track system ... what a shame
Hey bro I know you have tons of reels Let me know when you want to get rid of one of those nice reels I will buy it By the way awesome fishing videos bro
it's still consider as a BFS reel, but for heavier application or upper-end lure weight in the BFS fishing. the reel is build for bass fishing in mind not ultra-light. so you is good for lure weight like 3g+ (1/8oz) or heavier
@@matthewcove8597 yes, the weight of the spool does matter if you want to cast a lure that weight 2g (3/32oz) or below; lighter spool have a quicker/faster start-up inertia allowing the lighter lure to cast minimizing you have backlash or over-run of the spool, plus help those anglers that are beginner or less educated thumb when comes to baitcasting reel in general
Are you still rocking the Zenon LTX??
They also make solid rods..
I haven’t seen any fishing trips.
Yes, stay tuned.

Nice benchmade bro
I was thinking the same thing I have almost the same benchmade bugout 😂
This is not a BFS reel because the spul must weigh under 8 grams. So I heard
The weight of spool has nothing to do with it it's more reels ability to throw light lures under 4g accurately
