I played American football in college. Went to grad school and saw a flyer for rugby tryouts. Make the team, get a scholarship. Thinking that a transition from football to rugby wouldn’t be difficult, I went to the first day of tryouts. Rugby is the most violent contact sport I ever saw. I was a running back and took some hard hits, but nothing like rugby. I have the utmost respect for anyone who plays rugby. Even with the prospect of a scholarship, rugby was NOT for me.

He was not the most feared Rugby player of all time lol Maybe in the Northern hemisphere but not down South. The best thing he ever did was hit Chris Masoe. Outside of that, he was average at best. He didn't intimidate us down South. Nor was he ever a threat lol Hilarious claim

I watched him play the Newport Gwent Dragon , sale sharks, it took three defenders to stop him , he was a beast of a player .
