    Game changer!! I wanted to make one of these keychains with a sunflower but the only yellow I had on hand was HTV. So I came to see if ironing on acrylic was even a possibility. Thanks for sharing!

    Do you need to move the iron around or can you leave it still?

    Hi ,Is the paint just white? Also do I need to seal the back? Or will it scratch etc? Great job. What temp is the heat press? Can I layer two colors on top of each other? Can't wait to try?

    Can't wait to try this! I have a 9x9 easy press which i think may be too big to use for this project. Can I use a regular iron ?

    Great video. I do have a question, are you ever going to show how you assembled the off the mat 3d letters and how they look once assembled? Hopefully you do 🤞🤞🤞

      Wendy Aguilar ohhhhh that was a special request on how to do it in design space. But .... I’ll do it for my 10k subscribers on TH-cam celebration 🎉... I’ll prep it and video in December ❤️❤️❤️

    Great video, do you ever use a uv resin on top of the htv so there is no wear or scratches?

      I'm so scared to use resin/epoxy after reading about side effects for some people. So no, I haven't.

    I made these and loved them. Very easy, but what can I do to protect the picture from scratches from keys on keyrings.

      People like to use the UV resin. I've been avoiding resin because I'm worried about my skin. I have super sensitive skin.

    Would you say HTV on acrylic is much more permanent than regular adhesive vinyl?

    • @TheUselessCrafter
      @TheUselessCrafter  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would say that if done well, they're both equal. The difference is the look and feel. I also find it's easier to cut more intricate designs on HTV. I hope this helped!

      @ronaj0y 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TheUselessCrafter thank you. That helps for sure. I've never worked with htv before. The feel and look of htv on acrylic, how would you describe it compared to regular adhesive vinyl on acrylic? Sorry.

    • @TheUselessCrafter
      @TheUselessCrafter  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think the biggest difference you'll see is with glitter vinyl vs. glitter HTV is the texture and color. It's raised and more vibrant. =)

      @TheUselessCrafter  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven't had it long enough but I haven't had any issues. I think it totally depends on the person and how they're using it.

  • @tabithaann08
    @tabithaann08 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Does the paint stay on by itself or do you go over it and seal with resin?

    • @TheUselessCrafter
      @TheUselessCrafter  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The paint has stayed on ... but I have seen some where they do the paint splotch out of vinyl! To be honest, after doing this, I don't like the way the paint feels. haha. So that might be a good option.

    • @tabithaann08
      @tabithaann08 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TheUselessCrafter I did it last night. I like the look of the actual paint better. I sprayed it with laquer and it stayed a little better, but not good enough to sell. I hate resin, but I might do it for that pretty painted look lol
      Thank you!
