Spring Garden Tour - My Backyard Peach Orchard

  • Greetings, I hope you enjoy this Spring Garden Tour of my backyard garden and orchard here in Austin Texas (now) Zone 9a!
    My peach trees and the fig tree in my backyard orchard have produced fruit, and they are doing great. It looks like we will be getting a good peach harvest this summer!
    My raised bed is 60 square feet (20'x3') and about 2 feet high, I've got a good crop of blackberries, carrots, and onions growing. In this video, I will be discussing garden maintenance and preparation for the summer.

    Considering how busy you’ve been with work, travel, seminary and being a good dad, I’m impressed that there’s as much growing in our backyard as there is!

      Times like these I’m thankful we got peach trees instead of chickens, theyre a lot easier to maintain

    I’d forgotten about the peach tree branch growth with the “green wood” turning into “red wood” and then a branch. Very interesting

      I should’ve thinned them a bit more, I’ve just done my big harvest yesterday
