Great animation as others have stated, was looking for this to calm my nerves over carrying one in the chamber. Paranoid of a freak discharge while carrying concealed (holstered front belt) and wanted to better understand the safety mechanisms in place, thank you J2B!!(:
Wow this is a great find. I put new grips, night sights with tritium, & a light on mine. It's a down & dirty defensive weapon. The trigger is meh. It's a lot of fun to shoot. Very accurate. Lucky to have one.
Short answer, no. It is still a "striker fire" pistol, but does not have the same style of trigger bar or a sear safety as the XD. The only safety you have to manipulate is the trigger safety, like a Glock. Also the striker spring set up is different. The way that the original XD trigger and spring system was set up makes for a lack luster trigger pull. Long uptake, heavy pull, and excessive overtravel and reset travel. Out of the box, the Hellcat trigger is far superior.
@@J2BTeKFX The reason I said it cause your channel looks pretty unprofessional (Doesn't have a proper logo or a homepage) for such a professionally made video. So I thought the video belonged to a bigger organisation! But sorry if I offended you and "if" the video is actually done by you then congratulations. This is one of the most beautiful and high quality work I have seen lately.
@@timepasssss2746You're right! and no offense taken. More stuff is on its way. Just been swamped for a while. I'll see when 'Thing 1' is available to collab another project. ( We were hoping to do a silly Part 3 of this.... Perhaps one day)
I don't understand why this video doesn't get a million views!!!
I agree! This is such a stunning detailed videos!
Because the narrator (computer voice) got some facts mistaken. US made in Croatia.
You and me both!
Wow, outstanding animation.
Its giving me resident evil (movie) vibes
Excellent work creating this video
brilliant
Well done video on this incredible handgun
Thank you. This was extremely helpful to me in understanding how the safety mechanisms work together.

Fabuloso el video. Si todos los videos fuesen así de buenos al mostrar armas dibujadas en 3D.
Beautifully done!
Thank you! Cheers!
00:22 why does the barrel say 45GAP, but the slide says 45ACP?!?!?
Amazing!!
You are!

Very impressive!
Glad you liked it!

Great video ! Does Springfield Hellcat have the same firing mechanism ?

I like how it shows HS produkt then changes to Springfield...caught that....
What is the difference between HS and Springfield
Who made this? I am pretty sure you reuploaded this video. Can you share the link to the original creator please?
LMAO. Me and a colleague made this. (I also posted it on reddit and insta a few weeks back) This is the original.
