I started cracking up when Billy said,”This is gonna be horrible I can already tell.” LOL because I was thinking the same damn thing when Korey started explaining how excited he was for that salad
I worked at an AMC kitchen and it can be insane. New movies come out and you get 130 orders at the same time. It's like you are one kitchen for 5-10 different restaurants at the same time
lmao the build-up and Billy's "What is that? A 'hot dog'?" was great. Reminds me of my healthy vegan coworkers who are always like "why are you getting THAT?" to the rest of us when we go out and lecture us on how to actually eat before their food comes out and they are almost always disappointed or served with filth 😂
That’s why every time I go visit restaurants, fast foods, theme parks like Disneyland and movie theatres for food, I always Google their food images to see if it looks like their menu photos
The Food channel revealed the secret of food advertising. Those pictures are not real food. That ketchup..paint. That burger plaster and painted. Those fries wood.
@@hamhockbeans Zandersaurus can clarify but I think they mean that they Google food images from regular folks going to the theme parks e.g. on Yelp. Not advertisements of their food.
Even that shit's overpriced! For me & my wife, before we hit the theatre, we just go to a convenience/grocery store, grab the snacks we want, put 'em in wifey's purse and just "sneak" them into the theatre lol.
With Regal I get free snacks all the time from gathering points in the app. Also all the Regal theaters in my town have good food so idk. Their pizza is decent, their tenders with waffle fries are delicious. It's all pricey but good. Idk about their hotdogs. Never had those. Not a theater type good imo.
I was already laughing hard, but when Korey said that the salad made a sound when he opened it I started laughing even harder. Think of the "WOW" sound from like little rascals - cake baking for idiots sounds!
Years ago I went to the movies with my brother and his wife. She had a large purse containing a whole cooked chicken, coleslaw, carrots, the works. We feasted.
My wife and I just buy snacks from the grocery store before hitting the theatre. Can get the same stuff that you get at a theatre for a fraction of the price.
I don't work there, but my go-to place is Studio Movie Grill in Houston. I usually go to the Pearland location. Always fresh. Give it a try if you guys are ever in Houston.
thankfully there's a starbucks across the street from my theater i go there get my drink i pour my drink in my water bottle put the sandwich (that i made at home) in my purse (carefully) put my water bottle in my purse and carefully hold my purse in the theater to my seat and enjoy my delicious meal ain't no way in hell i'm spending $15-$20 on food at the movie theater when you can just make your sandwich at home or just get snacks at the gas station
We have something similar in Canada called VIP seating, where you can order food. While food doesn't take 30 minutes, but it's not really that special. Portions are usually small, and okay at best. But the service is nice. And yeah, I heard to not order a salad at restaurants because they're cheap to make, and not always fresh. Not unless the place is near a farm.
I work at an Alamo Drafthouse and yeah it can be really hectic when new movies release so I gotta give em some slack. Thank god I don't work in the kitchen cause they can get nearly a hundred orders at the same time. We actually have good Cobb salads though XD
It’s the same here in U.K. Depending where you go, you either spend between £5-£10 a ticket. A medium sized popcorn and drink is just under £10. I always bring my own drink and snacks cuz I ain’t paying that much!
What a coincidence. I just came back with the same experience. It was an Italian place I use to go to as a kid/young adult and it sucked. They used the fake parmesan for seasoning, the food was torturously hot, the spaghetti was very basic. They served the chicken with dry breast and those store bought mushrooms. The chairs were raggedy and felt like they could collapse any minute. and it was way too expensive. Never again.
. . .did you think you walked into a restaurant? I think if you walked into a fancy restaurant you'd still complain despite literally watching them make it for you.
I went to the movies this past Saturday I went to the grocery across the street I brung in a whole sandwhich and a bag of twizzlers, only thing I bought at the theaters was a large soda.
When I had my decent job, I used to preorder a pizza at a local pizza shop across the way and take a couple slices into my pockets wrapped in napkins. That with their unlimited any drink was actually a fun time

The employees at my theater openly let people take food into theater, mostly because they don't give a f@ck and don't want to use the microwave.
Popcorn is the only thing worth buying at the theater. If i'm really hungry, i'll wear a jacket and smuggle a burrito.
Korey's salad played The Shining theme when it opened 😂
