Awesome job, you've obviously done that before, nice work. I just recently removed my first 993 motor and it was awesome!

Again, fantastic presentation. I thought of another question as I get ready for my engine drop.. Do you have any tips for positioning the 993s on the lift with regards to all that weight in the back that will be coming out while the car's lifted ? It wouldn't be fun if one came sliding off of the lift :) Thanks!

The jacking points are perfectly balanced for the engine and gearbox removal. I've even had the side frames wheels everything off the rear and still no problem so yes you can trust the jacking points 👍

Very nice job. How long does it take you to drop the engine having done many ? Thanks. For sequence do you follow the Porsche shop manual or have you developed you're own sequence that is more efficient? Getting ready to drop mine for LWF conversion, lifters and all of the 'while your in there' stuff... Luck to have a lift, air & cordless tools stocked in my home garage :)

Thanks for your comment 😁 It takes around 3-4hours to drop the engine and gearbox. I follow the workshop manual unless we use ARP studs which have their own torque specs. You have all that equipment at home! Man that's awesome. You'll have fun building these engines, but remember there's a lot of parts on these particular engines, so if your not familiar with them, then I recommend marking each piece. Enjoy ☺️

Yeah I was using my phone to record, and my phone was crap, so I just had to use what I had. I have a proper camera now so I might remake a whole new Porsche build again. Just need to know which model 911 I should do. I need one that I know people want to see a whole build on
