Although I do appreciate the content, I've been watching a lot of these current RuneScape guide videos and noticed a lot of these TH-camrs are very experienced and assume everyone has access to max stats and 100s of mil worth of equipment. As a returning player with a max combat account and decent wealth, I have no clue what the unlabeled gear shown is nor how to get it or what benefits to aim for. Instead, we're just told what you like to do and certain mechanics. Knowing the mechanics is simply useless if you can't properly gear up or be told other ways of taking damage other than high-level options. I know a lot of players are high leveled returning players and they really miss out on all these new updates and bosses because there's no one properly informing in depth. It would be nice for a youtube to give a more in-depth view like RS TH-camrs used to do so that all players can benefit and love the content to keep coming back for more! Please consider the returning players! Thanks anyway and good luck gaming my friends.
Yea just so u are more aware what part of ELITE don’t you understand it’s end game content for players that know the content have the levels and equipment to enjoy it what the fun of having t90 weapons n armour and taking on kbd

Anybody new to this fight beware, this guide misses two important mechanics that could cost new pvm players. First, he doesn't explain the leviathan heal mechanic. He heals for every person in your group, and with lower level gear he'll out heal your dps. Use weapon poison when fighting him to half this heal rate. Second, is the potential one-shot mechanic in the second boss. This guide tells you not to worry about the portals and dps the boss until he goes to summon, without 90+gear this is a TERRIBLE idea. If a portal is left alive for too long(i.e you don't have enough dps to get him to next phase right away), he'll use it to do an 8k hit to all players. This guide assumes most players have high level (90+) PvM gear and a solid understanding of dps rotations. For the majority of you out there this is not the case, so take everything shown in this ED3 guide with a MASSIVE grain of salt. tldr; This guide does a poor job of explaining all boss mechanics and assumes high dps with t90+ equipment. If you're new to PvM, or even just to this dungeon, read the wiki instead or watch a different guide.
I'm too scared of any boss that is harder than the classic bosses, (kbd, kq, corp, etc) but this is a pretty helpful guide for whenever I decide to story mode the dungeon for that quest.
Yeah, mechanics are still the same on story mode just hit less! :D GL! :) Maybe try out GWD2 when you get more confident, really good bosses to progress into harder ones!
You’ll get good with practice. Don’t be afraid of dying. Helwyr and Vin are great bosses to start learning prayer switching and using defensive abilities like resonance. Great money too
Yes don't worry about dying. It is worth learning the gradually harder bosses. The money is much greater. It only takes a few hours of trying out a new boss to get the swing of it and you'll be killing them like a robot. And challenging yourself to get faster and more efficient.

There is such a thing as going into too much detail it can become too muddled down with detail any off hand references such as a quick comment about a certain ability or skill can be handled with a quick google search this is a pretty decent overview covering the fight mechanics and techniques anything else is preference really
As a returning player, who can do ed2 now, watching this everything made sense.honestly people need to do some research for themselves (spells and bindings). Video is tips and QUICK guide not noob guide. Well done maikeru
You can also Barricade the hard hit after Ambassador absorbs one of the fragments! My team deals with the mechanic in this way, but we also consistently dps down at least 5 of the 6 fragments, so then it doesn't really matter how you deal with the hard hits.
Barricade seems like a waste of adren in my opinion for 1 big hit, especially when it can be reso'd after a few kills practice pretty consistently but whatever helps you kill the boss :D
After the poison, two AA slam two AA slam. You stand in the middle so you have an easier time to predict what side it's on. You also don't have to be as close as possible, it can be one square away from the edge.
i'm a low level player, with 80 attack and 70 def, i went into the shadow reef and only managed to do the first two groups of enemies, but i just repeated that, it's nice xp and money if you get any rare items.
Yeah its possible, ruby bak boltz are pretty powerful. its harder than the others in terms of burst dps, but its still do-able. I did solak with range on the early days of release when everyone called it trash because its not quite as good, but it can still do the job :p
@@MaikeruRS there are abilitys we switches sigil armour perks etc so much stuff and returning player has no idea are even in the game and would love too see it all in a cost effective order to work towards

I have gotten it to 50s range, but I don't know what is best to train. This and dungeoneering are my hold ups for Priff, and even then I'm at a loss. I quit right as GE was released. I hated how the trade crap was and lost time for RuneScape. I used mobile, using an apk to check out mining and smithing rework. So I am working on getting a PC built. But I have no idea what to do with anything. Even attempting to train skills cost so much more than I can touch. So I have been doing making sapphire rings and enchanting for money. However I still don't have anything near enough to do much of anything.
For the ambassador fire mechanic its actually a time check of around 1 minute. If he has > 550k hp at the time of the check he does the fire. With 3 people its possible to skip the fire wall mechanic, but each of you needs to do a little over 150k damage in that minute. Ideally all three people use a steel titan with summoning flasks, weapon posion ++, an arma godbook, go in with full adrenaline, use planted feet/berserk + ring of vigour + replenshment potion, have zerker auras, (use dominion mines and dreadnips????????), position where 2 people get flanking threshold, and start the fight with vulnerability. Doing all this makes getting that 450k very possible if you don't take too long dealing with the fire clouds and black holes. To deal with fire clouds most people just pop escape and run back to their sunshine/DS. If your using melee escape+BD/barge work just as well.
That was hotfixed 2 days ago, at 650k he is forced to do the fire/beams :) My explanation is correct, its hp based now since the fix, it's been updated :D Thanks though!
Only for the 2nd boss though. You can do it killing the big guys, but honestly its not needed with just your typical t90s and t70/80 perked power armour you can out dps it easily with a few corruption shot/blasts to kill the zombie hordes

the ambassador fire walls explanation is wrong, if you dps him hard enough to get him to 550k b4 he finishes the second purple pools he will skip the flame one and go directly to summon the crabs, so good dps is kinda needed to avoid that horrible phase.
I literally explain the mechanics of every boss? Idk how that isnt guiding people through the dungeon. If you mean abilities that i mention to use, if you don't know what abilities they are - you need to start at an easier boss and learn those things first.

Yeah its possible, ruby bak boltz are pretty powerful.
its harder than the others in terms of burst dps, but its still do-able.

If you got insta-killed at Crassian Leviathan.... you DON'T want to know what solo ambassador is like.... it's like 100x harder than the eel boss....

I've been making videos for 3 years, and it's just gone up over time. RS3 doesn't have the biggest viewbase ever, but I'm very happy with 44k :)

That was hotfixed by the JMods so now if the ambassador reaches 650,000lp before he reaches the laser beam phase in his rotation, he'll phase anyway.
