Yeah, there is an overarching plot in Star vs. the Forces of Evil. But it doesn't really start until episode 8. Things get surprisingly darker over time. There are currently only 13 episodes, so it's easy to catch up. Definitely worth a watch.
+woutmees it works cause the first six episode just establish who Marco and Star are and some of their friends, making you think the show is just another fun but typical animated sitcom style show, then gets into an arc story line with the arrival of Toffee...and from there you want to know everything you can.

Y'know, when you think about it: this is kind of like a Cartoon Network vs Disney scenario. Especially with how the opposing shows - and the ponies who watch them - oppose each other so vehemently. The avatars of tv program rivalry, i say.:D
Brave Chaser I like that I am probably the only person that doesn't actually hate Teen Titans Go. I have only watched a few episodes and I found it Ok. People say that "It's nothing like the original show". Me "Yeah but it wasn't supposed to be the original show." Everything besides the characters is different which makes it a different show. I find it that people say that it's worse than it is. I have read people say that the show ruined the Titans. No because the original show was still good, there are short clips with them which are rather decent and the animation movies are rather enjoyable. Teen Titans Go isn't a great show but I think people go a bit over the top. One bad series that involved of a franchise doesn't ruin the entire franchise for me. I thought that the first EQ movie was merely ok but that didn't stop me from watching the others or still watching the show.

Great reactions once again:) if you ever decide to branch off from doing mlp videos, might I suggest watching the RWBY( pronounced as ruby) series as it is very funny, action packed, and well animated. I think you might like the series if you are a fan of anime as the series draws some if it's elements from anime.

the teen titans go was actually quite fitting once you realize that Tara strong voices both Twilight sparkle (mlp)and raven (TTG) so yeah that was very clever of James
In star vs. the mid season Finale was epic and a lot of development on star and marco. When mlp closes out or you get bored of it, I hope you react to other good shows, or can you pleaaaaaaaaase react to other shows with mlp if you like?
