For me personally I prefer the ship because the two kinda feel like they're on the same wavelength?? (it's a bit hard to explain) Like they're both very competitive, tomboyish and also hard working and loyal along with a lot more traits like that. I will admit though that it also comes from personal preference as I myself am not a fan of gender roles where ones feminine and the others masculine (which Rarijack very much falls into) I prefer relationships where they are more equal if you get what I mean? As I said before that comes down more to personal preference though.

I have the headcanon that rarity has ADHD/OCD, and this causes applejack to need to catch her attention and help her focus on the main trouble (like the books instead of the tree) while i believe applejack is in my book, neurodivergent, and sometimes needs help understanding that she needs to say things a little softer and accept the gray areas of situations (Like her opinion on fashion) and rarity helps her understand by either showing her similar perspective or certain consequences ( like her unable to focus on Applejack when she’s trying to catch her attention) I feel like they fit eachother a lot, while I do appreciate apple dash it just doesn’t feel the same and honestly kinda just feels like applejack is dating a different font of applejack, I’m not the biggest fan of rainbow so maybe I’m just biased.

December 3rd update: Finally finished Season 1! It seems we ended it with a Serene wrap up rather than a bang, which is an interesting approach. But I also found out Rarijack has quite the fanbase too X).
January 2nd update: out of all scenes in The Crystal Empire, the one that made my day was the one where AJ says some things are better when they're... A rarity.
January 6th update (where the paste ends): must say I like to see RD as somewhat aro/ace nowadays, while Pinkie is a bit into her at times and Dashie lets it roll 'cause she would know no difference between love for a friend and a girlfriend; and so they remain as crazy friends. Love how ppl can make wildly different headcanons.
January 11th update: I watched Read It and Sleep (from Friendship Is Witchcraft) yesterday. It's everything I ever wanted from an edit of Look Before You Sleep lol.

I have the headcanon that rarity has ADHD/OCD, and this causes applejack to need to catch her attention and help her focus on the main trouble (like the books instead of the tree) while i believe applejack is in my book, neurodivergent, and sometimes needs help understanding that she needs to say things a little softer and accept the gray areas of situations (Like her opinion on fashion) and rarity helps her understand by either showing her similar perspective or certain consequences ( like her unable to focus on Applejack when she’s trying to catch her attention) I feel like they fit eachother a lot, while I do appreciate apple dash it just doesn’t feel the same and honestly kinda just feels like applejack is dating a different font of applejack, I’m not the biggest fan of rainbow so maybe I’m just biased.
