You do some killer videos man I definitely enjoy them keep up the good work you’ve already helped me and I’m sure you’ve helped a lot more than just me we need to get your name out there.
Just bought my first bike and its exactly like yours. Hope to get it wrapped to make it look like the 2020 or 2021 models. Great bike to learn on! But I will be buying this protection also
@@malt8810 I actually bought a service manual for the 2020 Vitpilen (not easy to find, to be honest) and the specs for the original bolts that are removed to install the frame slider are 25 N.m / 18 ft-lb. The "bolt" (actually a cover) on the LH side fork axle slider is 20 N.m. / 15 ft-lb, so I assume the RH for axle slider (which just screws into the hole already there) is the same. I didn't install the rear because I have bobbins for the paddock stand that seem sufficient (I also have the nice waxed canvas and leather saddlebag from the guys at Un1t Garage in Italy--easier to get from here in Spain--and the frame for it would be sacrificed before the bobbins or any sliders were I to drop the bike) and the rear RHS bobbin from MNNTHBX actually makes contact with the stock exhaust under heavy compression.
i liked the part with the neighbor ^_^
Thinking of adding these sliders/case guards to my 390 Duke. Glad I found your video, Thx!
the jojo reference at the end just earned my sub, lol
Thanks you so much for making this video. I'm a newer rider who's getting this bike, and you were so helpful! Thank you!
Glad I could help! I just got some more goodies for it too, so look for more install vids in the next week or two.

I appreciate the praise! I look forward to continuing to try to help as best I can!

It's fun for sure! good luck on getting it wrapped, and ride safe!
can you link the sliders?
Whoa! Can't believe I forgot to, I'll throw it in the description. Here's the main site though in the meantime: www.t-rex-racing.com

Where did you buy the frame slider?

Whats the torque spec?
I've seen 35lb/ft
That sounds about right. I tried to be firm, but not crazy about it, as I wasn't 100% positive which parts were aluminum and which were steel.
