Yup! I’m an Army brat from all over. Learned most of my semantics growing up in New England. I too would normally say “85”, “485”, “uptown”. Are you local to Charlotte or transplant?
@MovingtoCharlotte NC native. (Salisbury) Lived in Philly suburbs for 10yrs. Back in NC inn Concord now for 14. The Northeast is as pretty as the South if not prettier. Just too expensive.
