  • In this video, I show you 3 ways to make miniature doors. The first is a simple approach by using styrofoam. The second way is sculpting one out of Superculpey. And the third method is creating a mold and casting them out of FastCast resin.

This video is over a year old, and it just earned you another sub. Great stuff mate. You made what some may see as a daunting task into something that seems user friendly, easy and approachable. Loved it!

Nice video! I just made a door with coffee stir sticks then cast it with blue stuff and made a copy using milliput. It works ok but it was tricky to figure out how much milliput to put in. I think i would like to try this silicon mould stuff you used.

Another great video... just realized you were Canadian too. You, Black Magic and Real Terrrain... some of the best crafting channels out there and all Canadian. I assume we're such great crafters from the months we must spend inside during winter. Cheers from the West Coast mate. Can't wait for the rest of youtube to realize how great your videos are

The silicone your using seems pretty 'thick'. I use the smooth-on platinum cure, it's a little thick but it pours easier. Mostly I use the Mold-Star 30 but for some of the smaller pieces I use the Mold-Star 16, which is a little softer when dry.
