Three Ways to Make Miniature Doors - Episode 8

In this video, I show you 3 ways to make miniature doors. The first is a simple approach by using styrofoam. The second way is sculpting one out of Superculpey. And the third method is creating a mold and casting them out of FastCast resin.

Nice video! I just made a door with coffee stir sticks then cast it with blue stuff and made a copy using milliput. It works ok but it was tricky to figure out how much milliput to put in. I think i would like to try this silicon mould stuff you used.

The silicone your using seems pretty 'thick'. I use the smooth-on platinum cure, it's a little thick but it pours easier. Mostly I use the Mold-Star 30 but for some of the smaller pieces I use the Mold-Star 16, which is a little softer when dry.
