Einstürzende Neubauten - Arbeit

  • One of the earliest and rarest Neubauten albums, Stahlmusik was recorded live to tape in a pillar of the Stadtautobahn Bridge in West Berlin on June 1, 1980, and was released on cassette in October via Blixa Bargeld's "Eisengrau" shop, where the earliest incarnations of the band would often rehearse. Musically, the sound of the album is more conventional than the band's next "album", Kollaps, mainly because percussionist N. U. Unruh had not yet abandoned his drum-kit for the miscellaneous scrap metal of later releases.

Amazing upload, thank you for posting. I like the blurb about the album, but there are a couple misleading statements.... The drum kit was not abandoned, but had to be sold for money. Eisengrau was originally the store of Gudrun Gut and Bettina Köster, and later Gudrun Gut and Blixa Bargeld.

Delta Vox well it kinda sounds like the intermission tracks they usually put in between their tracks. Personally I don’t think Tool is talented enough to write something like this. After their latest album I just stopped paying attention to Tool.
Besides, their intermission tracks were one of the only reasons I enjoyed Tool. Everyone seems to think otherwise but I’m totally serious when I say their intermission tracks were the highlight of their musical talent.
Tool would never be able to create symbolism quite like Neubauten.

I would be nice if they made a Gamelan style album with a Shadowplay.
