Maybe it's because I'm a guy, but Yosuke's and Kanji's persona fights definitely hit me the hardest. Being frustrated and pissed off at dealing with things that were outside of my control as well as dealing with changing sexuality were difficult. Especially when people around me, mostly family and certain friends, weren't okay with my feelings. For a while. it hurt a lot, but I'm glad that I've come to deal with those emotions, whether it's letting people go, others changing opinions or finding new friends, I feel a lot better than I did in the past. This game is amazing.
What if there was a character who seemed overly excited by everything, but the secret revealed by his Shadow was that he was completely indifferent to everything happening around him? "You go on and on about my dark secret, but the truth is... if I don't actually care, why bother revealing it? I'll roll with whatever comes my way... including you. Bye." Free Persona?
Or another one: What if someone's shadow is all about "You're so weak that you agree with everything, just to avoid trouble!"? That person would be like "Yeah, you're right." and instant persona? XD
Eh... I always felt that if if anyone else were to join the investigation team it'd be a younger kid who got screwed over by Adachi on some level. Their personality would be some kind of fun loving adventure seeking Daredevil who goes with the flow, but their shadow would reveal just how terrified they are of everything. Terrified and alone, and seeking recognition from someone long gone from their lives, as well as a thrill they couldn't get when they were younger either due to controlling adults or a sickness of some sort.
And here we see the wild comic dub fan in it’s natural habitat... attempting to attract fellow fans with familiar quotes, it seems to have worked as I have been attracted
Thinking about it, maybe the reason a person becomes weak after the shadow fight is near enough confirmation that the shadow is indeed a part of them - because it's the shadow which uses their energy to fight you, the person themself aren't involved in the fight whatsoever
I actually thought about this myself. What if the only the Shopping District was Saki's dungeon, while the liquor store was actually Yosuke's own. The voices they heard were voices Yosuke heard from people talking about Saki, but had no choice but to ignore it. And the Saki we hear is actually what Yosuke thinks she actually felt about him, but in reality she actually cared about him, the tv world just twisted his fears in a weird way.

I think that’s just part of Yosuke’s behavior. He put up a happy go lucky facade so he wouldn’t feel lonely. It’s not like he’s a psychopath but instead needing the affirmation that someone cares about you. He wanted to be a hero.

Probably because A. You were more used to the combat of Persona. B. You actually had 4 party members, a persona with abilities you liked and the possibility of being higher level.
Yosukes shadow was just meant as a tutorial to learn the concept of stat weaknesses and how to use them against your opponent and how to keep your opponent from using them against you. If you guarded at the correct times the fight shouldn’t have been difficult.

The game came out on the PS2 originally on the last year of its existence [2008], when everyone was getting rid of their PS2s to get the PS3 because the console finally started work properly. Christopher Williams PSP engine is not as strong as the PS Vita. But some how the PS Vita sale even worst than the PSP. And Persona 3 Portable really good. Never had a ps Vita, so I don't know how good the Persona 4 Golden is anyway.
The PS Vita & essentially the Nintendo 3DS took an L once the iTouch and smartphones in general improved a lot more so people could play games for a short while. But that didn't last forever because these developers on the mobile gaming market started making games for the sole reason of getting players to pay for microtransactions. Now Sony needs to upgrade PS Vita games onto the PS4
It's probable that what we saw weren't her 100% thoughts. Think about all the other dungeons you go into: It represents a repressed aspect of a person. Yukiko feeling trapped and wanting to be rescued from her castle, Rise wanting to "show her true self" in a strip club, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if the words we heard were actually the repressed words of Saki, not her actual 100% feelings. Negative thoughts are complicated like that.
I’m not entirely sure either but maybe due to the shadow manifesting, the characters faint due to the sudden increase in power or understanding or something idk that’s just my guess
